there clay was, vincent with his arms wrapped around his neck, now with his head buried into his chest, obviously smiling during the whole thing.

"i never thought you would actually love me back..." clay said, overwhelmed with joy as he looked at him.

"me too- well, until i saw your spotify playlists. make sure you check if a playlist is public or not next time." vincent chuckled.

clay could only snicker at this remark. he was too happy to even care.

"maybe that mistake was a blessing in disguise, but i think we can both agree that you'd never have the balls to confess to someone you love."

"maybe," vincent muttered in a hushed tone, obviously ignoring the second half of his sentence.

"anyways, shut up and cuddle with me now. it's cold in your house."

clay just smiled as the sun finally hid behind the mountains outside, the last rays of sunlight fading into the rest of the darkness.

"anything for you, my pretty little princess. don't forget about our walk, though."

"don't call me that ever again."

vincent had a tight grip on clay, as if he was a child and clay was a giant teddy bear. his face was buried into his pastel green turtleneck, his hair messier than normal as well. vincent was fast asleep in clay's arms, while the older just closed his eyes and squeezed his brand new boyfriend tighter, wanting to wait a little longer before he woke him up.

of course, nothing can last forever, and adorable, gay naps are no exception.

clay gave vincent a peck on his forehead, gently combing through his messy hair as if vincent were a fragile child.

"vinny, wake up. we have that walk tonight, remember?" clay was gentle with his words, whispering into his ear.

the younger stirred, tired and drowsy after his nap.

he rubbed his eyes. "five more minutes...?"

clay smiled weakly, vincent being too cute for him to handle.

"no, buddy. it'll be midnight by the time you get up if you push it off."

vincent groaned, looking up clay for the first time ever since clay had confessed.

"okay... we can cuddle more after though, right?"

clay smiled again, vincent was again being too childish and sweet for him.

the older ran his hands through vincent's hair, answering his question with confidence in his voice. "after. go and get dressed; we can go on our walk and snuggle later."

clay's gentle tone was enough to get vincent to let go of clay and get up, wobbling slightly.

"don't forget to brush your teeth and hair, too," clay finished, feeling more like a mom instead of a boyfriend. a motherly boyfriend was good enough for clay, though. as long as vincent was happy.
