Chapter 9: Two New Members: the Cook and the Doctor

As Naruto is sailing back, he sees two people on a poorly made raft. One is a giantess, and the other one is a normal woman. He gets close to them and asks, "Need help?"

The two women look at each other, and nod their head yes. Naruto replies, "Then get on."

The normal one is a young woman with long light brown hair tied in a braid, dark brown eyes and freckles on her face. She wears a dark red bordeaux chef's uniform top and a white knee-length skirt. All though, it is torn in places, and dirty.

Naruto learned that her name is Cosette, the former Head Chef for the royal household of Germa Kingdom.

The giant one is a slender giantess with long blonde hair, part of which is kept in two braids on the sides of her head. She has light blue eyes. She wears a revealing one-piece purple fur garment with a neckline that goes down to her stomach and which leaves the sides of her legs completely exposed. She also wears a very long striped stocking on her left leg that nearly goes up to her waist, as well as an eggshell cape with tatters on the bottom and fur boots.

She is an axe-wielder, and a doctor. The giantess's name is Gerd.

Naruto instantly thought that this was too good to be true. All, though he did say that he might find them on the trip back. Naruto didn't think it would actually happen. All though, he shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Gerd then says, "You saved us, asked us our names, but haven't given yours. You also haven't said where we are going."

Naruto replies, "Ah, sorry about that. My name is Naruto D. Uzumaki, Captain of the Uzumaki Pirates. Right now, we are sailing towards Cocoyasi Village. All though, you'll have to wait to get food once we get back to the village."

They soon return to Cocoyasi Village. He puts the Beli into his vault, and has a meeting with the two women he picked up. Well after they all ate, of course. Naruto then asks, "I'd like for you two to join the Uzumaki Pirates. So what do you say?"

Cosette looked worried, and Naruto could sense why. He says, "You don't have to worry about that Cosette. My crew, and I will teach you all you need to know about fighting."

Cosette then looks at Gerd. they nod at each other, and replies, "We'd love to..."

They then hear a child, who screams, "PAPA!"

A one year old comes running in as best as she could. The girl has two whisker-like marks on each cheek, slitted azure blue eyes, and light blue hair that is pulled back in a hairband. She wears a pink sweater, a three-layered white flutter skirt, black pants, and a pair of flat pink sandals.

Naruto picks her up in a hug, and places her on his lap. As Naruto tickles her, he asks, "How is my little Sunflower-hime?"

As he is interacting with his daughter, Naruto looks at the women he just recruited and says, "Sunflower-hime, meet the new members of my pirate crew."

The girl, with a huge toothy grin says, "My... Name... Himawari."

This is when Nojiko enters the office, and says, "Himawari, you know not to mess with your Tou-chan when he is working."

Naruto replies, "It's nothing, Noji-chan. Plus we were just about done. How about you introduce them to the rest of the crew."

Nojiko just nods her head in response. She then leads the two women out of the office, and shows around Uzushio. Meanwhile, Naruto asks, "So my little Sunflower-hime, what do you want to do today?"

Himawari answers, "Deraw. I wana deraw!"

Naruto chuckles, and replies, "Draw? Of course we can draw. Just let me get the paper, and crayons, okay?"

Himawari, full of glee says, "Otay, Papa!"

They then spend the rest of the day drawing.
