Chapter six: Just Fine.
"What can I do for you, Miss Ally?" The unknown man asked, I was scared and terrified that he would try to hurt me but, I had to do this.
"I need answers." I said as I tried not stutter.
He laughed. "Okay, but hurry up. I don't have all day." He said while making himself more comfortable.
"I need your name." I said.
He looked confused. "Why is that?"
I sighed. "Because you're the asshole that's been messing with me for the past few days!" I yelled but, I regretted it straight after.
He sped up and forced me against the wall, making it hard for me to move. "Don't talk back or you'll be sorry." He said as he let go while tears were forming in my eyes.
I stayed silent. "Call me Freddy." He glared at me after a moment.
"I know you had something to do with hurting Brandon." I said, hoping he wouldn't get mad. Who was this guy, my father?
"You were wrong to call me, darling, "he laughed, "I'm going to make your life a living hell if you don't do what I say and I'll be back to give you a-"
He paused, smirking. "A message."
As he said those words, he disappeared into thin air and I'm left with only his name and his words. There was no doubt in my mind that he will be coming back to haunt me and I was scared, really scared. I opened the bathroom door and peeked my head out and everyone seemed so normal. Nothing has been tipped over or anything like that. It was like that earthquake never happened.
I quietly walked back to Brandon's room and I saw that Ethan had fallen asleep, he looked so adorable. I sat down and watched Ethan sleep and then I looked sadly at Brandon.
"I'm sorry." I whispered to Brandon while thinking about Freddy as tears fell down from my eyes to my cheeks.
Ethan jolted up and yawned. "Did you say something?" He asked as he stretches.
I shook my head. "Brandon's parents will be flying in soon so lets go home, clean up and come back tomorrow." I suggested, feeling like I couldn't stay here anymore. Luckily, he agreed.
I took his hand and we left the hospital, going down the stairs this time. We took a cab to my place and once we got inside, the cold airs flows through and made us both shiver.
"Ally, Ethan." Tyler came up to us and hugged us.
"Hey." I said while looking down.
"How's Brandon?" He asked.
"He suffered a really bad brain injury." Ethan continued to tell Tyler the whole story while I went to find Beth. I opened her bedroom door and I saw her texting while laying on her bed.
"Hey, can I come in?" I asked nicely.
"I suppose." She said in a tone that I couldn't explain.
"Are you still mad?" I asked.
She shook her head while sitting up and putting her phone on her nightstand. "I heard what happened at Ethan's apartment. With you, I mean." She said while I sit on her bed and I instantly thought of Freddy.
"Yeah, I'm fine. It's Brandon that I'm worried about." I said.
She nodded, understanding. "That must of been awful."
"It was."
"I'm sorry I missed your performance." I told her, hoping she doesn't ask why because I couldn't go into that.
