"Mate, you alright?"

Spy shook his head, trying to wake up from what seemed like a dream. He felt a hand on his shoulder, and turned to see Sniper looking at him, his face filled with concern.

"You alright?" Sniper asked again.

"Um, yes." Spy said, gaining his composure. "I'm quite alright."

"M'kay."

A million thoughts ran around inside of Spy's head as he thought about what he had just seen. It almost seemed... real. Like everything that had unfolded before him had actually happened. What the hell prompted him to even think about all that? A pit formed in his stomach as he thought about all the terrible things that had happened to him and his friends. Where did those ideas come from? As he pondered about all of it, Sniper patted his shoulder.

"D'you wanna go get some drinks?" He asked Spy, hoping that getting him on his feet would distract him from whatever he seemed to be worried about.

"Sure." Spy said, as the two of them got out of the car. He turned to the backseat, where Pauling and Scout were sitting.

"Would either of you like anything to drink?" He asked.

"No thanks." Scout said.

"A Coke would be great, thank you." Miss Pauling replied.

Spy nodded, and once he was out of the car, a slight breeze flew by. This caused him to be on edge, as it was almost exactly like what happened in that... Dream of is. With caution, he caught up to Sniper, who was already headed to the concessions stand. As they walked, Sniper looked down at Spy, a curious look on his face. Spy noticed and grimaced.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"You seem off." Sniper said, looking back up to see where they were going.

"What the hell do you mean by that?"

"What I mean is, you seem as if something is bothering you."

"So what if something was?" Spy remarked. "Why would it matter?"

Sniper shrugged. "I dunno, might be nice to get whatever it is off your chest."

Spy rolled his eyes as they continued to walk. He did want to tell somebody about his dream-like thing or whatever it was. It was bugging him to no end, and everything about it felt so off to him. But he thought about what everyone else would say and think about all that, and decided not to. They would probably think he was crazy for thinking such things, which is not what he wanted. Then, out of nowhere, Spy slipped and fell to the ground. He began to breath heavily, anxiety overcoming him. Sniper leaned down to help Spy up, sniffing.

"Did you just slip in gasoline?" He asked.

That was it. Spy quickly got up, almost jumping, and hurried back towards the car. Sniper followed behind him, wondering what the hell was up with Spy.

"Spy!" Sniper yelled, causing Spy to stop and turn around before reaching the car. "What the bloody hell is wrong with you? I have never seen you act like this before."

All Spy could do was stand there, trying to catch his breath as the pit in his stomach grew deeper and deeper.

"We have to go." He said under his breath.

"What was that?" Sniper asked as he finally caught up to Spy.

"We all have to go." Spy said, looking up at Sniper with fear in his eyes.

Sniper was taken aback, wondering what the hell was going on with Spy. He had never seen him look so fearful and anxious before. Normally he was calm and collected, but not now. This was so out of character for him.

"Go get in the passenger's side." Sniper eventually said, rubbing his hands on his face. "I'll go let the others know we gotta go."

Spy nodded, and quickly got into the car. He watched as Sniper walked over to Engie's truck, telling him that Medic needed their help at that moment and that they all had to leave. Thankfully they bought his excuse, and although disappointed, everyone listened and got into the truck to leave. Sniper and Heavy got into the car, and they all drove off.

"Why the hell did we have to leave?" Scout asked.

"Medic needs us." Sniper quickly said, not wanting to explain anything so as not to let off that he was lying.

Everyone was silent, especially Spy, who was looking out the window behind them as they drove away from the Drive-In theater. As though on time, Spy noticed a giant flame burst into the air at the lot, followed by a large explosion sound. Sniper nearly crashed the car into Engineer's truck as the sound went off and echoed through the air.

Spy gulped as they got farther and farther away from the lot, while Sniper glanced at him with a terrified look on his face. Everybody was silent as they continued to drive back to the base, nobody knowing what to say at that moment.

Once they had finally arrived at the base, everybody walked inside, and not a word was said. Sniper walked next to Spy, who looked as though he was ready to pass out, and grabbed his arm to help him walk. Too tired and out of breath, Spy let him, almost leaning on him for support as they headed into the main room with everyone else. Everybody had already sat down, the only one missing being Medic, as he was still in his lab. Sniper and Spy sat on the couch next to Pyro and Heavy.

The room was dead quiet, nobody able to speak a word. Eventually, Engineer broke the silence.

"That was too darn close." He said, holding his hardhat in his hands.

Everybody muttered in agreement. Then, as if right on que, Medic walked in, obviously oblivious to what the rest of them had just witnessed.

"Vhy are you all back so early?" He asked. "I thought the movie didn't end until 10."

"We left early because Sniper said you needed our help." Soldier replied.

"Vhat? I never asked for anybody's help."

Everybody turned to look at Sniper, who was still holding onto Spy. He kept quiet, not knowing what to say at that moment.

"Well, whether you needed us or not, it was a good thing we left when we did." Engineer stated. "The place went up into flames and exploded right after we had left."

Medic looked at them with a shocked look, tilting his head to the side in confusion.

"How did you know to leave?" He asked, narrowing his eyes.

Nobody knew how to answer his question, as none of them knew how or why they had managed to get lucky enough to leave before the horror struck. Nobody expect for Spy, of course.

"I had a feeling." Spy eventually spoke up.

"What do you mean by that?" Engineer raised a brow.

"I wish I knew." He responded. "I had this sort of... Dream or something along those lines where all of us had died during that accident. Then once I had finally snapped out of it, I felt this sense of deja vu, and somehow knew we needed to get out of there as quickly as possible."

"Hah, that sounds like some crazy premonition thing Merasmus would talk about." Soldier chuckled.

"You're making it sound like the bloody things are real." Demo piped up.

"No, no, Soldier actually has a point." Medic thought about it, moving back and forth around the room. "I never thought they could be real outside the realm of magic that Merasmus seems to possess, though."

"Is that bloody bastard back at his stupid magical antics once again?" Sniper remarked. "It's not even close to Halloween, this time around, so why the hell would he do this?"

"This seems quite a bit different than something that Merasmus would cause, though, doesn't it?" Medic responded.

As everyone talked, Spy took in a deep breath, trying to regain himself, before getting up. Everybody turned to look at him, expecting him to say something, before Spy turned around and headed upstairs to his bedroom to think about everything that had happened. It all felt so off to him. Was all of that just a coincidence? Or did it all mean something more?
