"Lord, what would you have me do?"

This has been her usual line for more than a year. She increased her pace a bit faster as her feet moved swiftly on the ground. Jogging at sunrise was a morning dose for her, it had been her strategy since she arrived college. It had been something she did with her dad some times when she was little, before...

She shrugged off the memory and squinted her eyes bringing herself back to the present, which was what the Lord had in store for her today.

Her new life as a college freshman overwhelmed her. She couldn't get a grip on herself and all the busy schedule. It was all so new and strange, like a system she couldn't just grasp not until she picked up a strategy and this was that strategy, racing out at sunrise and just relishing in the freshness of the day plus self talk. Something you would call soliloquy.

Talking, it was a good therapy for her a self imbibed therapy. She'd talk out all the frustrations and also think, analyze her life, and most importantly talk to the Lord. Beyond her morning prayers, her morning walk out was the time she spent alone with her best friend.

She pulled out her phone from her back pocket to check the time. "Whooo...!" She exclaimed under her breath. It was 7:15am. She hadn't realised that she'd spent so much time already.

The day was already bright and soonest the freshmen would start buzzing out of the hostels contaminating the peaceful serenity. When she hasn't still heard from her best friend yet.

She paused and sat on a nearby lawn across the school field where she did her morning walkouts. Staring into the sky, she could see the bright yellow ray - the obtrusive evidence of the rising sun.
Laying her back down to the ground and shutting her eyelids she whispered.

"I'm here Lord, what lies ahead?"

Then the reply came, the reply she always heard anytime she asked.

"You've got class this morning Bellaaaa...?" Her roommate voice rang after her as she entered the shower to wash off all the sweat.

Her roommate, Stacey Miles, has been with her since first year. They hung out together and it was cool having her as a roomie. She was a Maths major and is amazingly good with calculation. Hoping to land herself in some big industry someday. Stacey was a real sweetheart but she wasn't much of a believer like her. She was a Christian but too engrossed in her studies to be committed to faith. Well, that was in Bella's opinion.

Anytime she asked her to come for a prayer meeting, it was always the usual reply, "Bella have got tons of assignments and projects" then she would go on rattling about some equations and all. "Maybe some other times" she would say with a meaningful look.

"You bet I do...English...Mr. Stephen" she yelled back under the noise coming from the now turned on faucet.

Everyone knew about Mr. Stephen. He was regarded as a badass lecturer; one of the scariest at Hilton. No one dared come late into his class. It is a popular story at Hilton, how he once seized a student's footwear throughout the period and made him write an easy about his worst experience in Hilton, so he published it on the school's newspaper. It was an awful episode for the young man. Thankfully she never experienced that.

"...fast" she heard a roommate reply but couldn't grasp out what she said exactly. But whatever it was, it would definitely mean for her to hasten up.

She dug out of the bathroom hurriedly; put on her dress, applied a slight make up and made her way to the door.
"Stacey haven't you got any lecture this morning?" she hung by the door, facing the desk where Stacey sat in front of some papers sprawled all over the table.
