Chapter 2

Dominic

I'm sitting in my office listening to Franco while he's giving a speech about our new project with a new building in this little town called Bloomingtown, it's 10 miles from my city - Lanton City. I was in Bloomingtown couple of times but I never liked small family towns it's just not for me. I'm a bachelor and my penthouse is in the middle of the city, which is perfect for my lavish lifestyle. We made decision about this project when we met Mr. James Pierson, hotel owner that wanted to build some buildings with apartments next to his hotel empire. I met him for the first time in a golf club while Franco and I decided to run from a big city and their clubs, and start a membership somewhere quieter. We clicked immediately even though he's the pure opposite from me, family men next to me bachelor for life but as they say opposites attract, so I guess it's like that in this case.

I nod my head on Franco's speech. This project is planned to start in two weeks and for now everything is going as planned. My phone light distracts me and I unlock to see a text from Jake, my best friend

- Drink tonight ? I know one really good club in Bloomingtown, La Boune, you can stay one night away from big city, I don't take NO for an answer. -

A night out wouldn't be such bad idea, so without much thinking I answer with YES and ask for the details.

When I come home around 4pm I decide to skip showering and go straight to bed because I need to charge my batteries for tonight. I just know that tonight is going to be a wild night. I didn't have sex in 3 days, last time was in a bathroom at M-Lounge with Tinna...Dinna... or something like that, so I think it's time for a new round. I take my suite off and in my boxer shorts I lay down in my bed and let me tell you, I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Alissa

I'm standing in my walk-in closet and look at clothes and of course, like every women on this planet, I'm sure that I don't have anything to wear. I made plans with my friends to go visit La Boune tonight, I need to let myself go a little because it's Friday night and this week was rough. I look at the clock and see that it's 8pm, oh God Mia sent me a text that she will pick me up at 10pm, so I hope that till then I will find something to wear. I decide on a black leather skater skirt with a white shirt and Hot Chick white Loubotine's on my feet. I let my long wavy blonde hair down, put little make-up on my face and a red matt MAC lipstick on my lips, one of my favorite colors.

I see my phone light up with a message from Mia that she is on her way so I pick up my white letter bag, put my favorite Miss Dior parfume and go down to wait for my friends.

At the entrance of the club is Carmen's boyfriend Nick who works as security, so he let us in and we went straight to our booth with a Don Juan and Belvedere on the table. I love to drink vodka and also tequila but those two together, never again, I made that mistake on my 21. birthday party.

The atmosphere in the club is amazing and from the speakers I hear one of my favorite songs, it's 'King of my Heart' by Taylor Swift so I drag Mia and Carmen to the dance floor and well I just start dancing. I can feel the alcohol in my blood and I was right this night is just what I needed. I turn around to look for Tommy and find myself colliding with a big men's body and honestly said, I was shocked. He is huge. I am 1,68 plus heels with 12cm and he is still so big. I look up and see his brown eyes looking at me with such hunger in them. I continue staring at him and start noticing his long eyelashes and his perfectly sculpt face with beard, that's maybe 2-3 days old and his muscular parfume is making me dizzy. ,,Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going'' I hear his deep voice and see him leaving while my eyes are still focused on him. What was that, I ask myself.

I go back to our booth and take some water off the table, I need to sober up because alcohol obviously blurred my mind and mixed my feelings. I hear John Legends 'One women man' and this song is making me think about the moment before. I put my head high to look for him, finding him on the other side of club with some other men and I see a waitress who is shamelessly flirting with him. I look at my phone and see that it's 02:30am I tell Tommy that I'm going to the toilet and that after that I'm going to call a taxi. I hope he doesn't misunderstand, but I'm really tired and think that that's enough for me tonight. I start walking to the toilet and I have to walk next to his table but while I do that I try not to pay attention at him. I walk in an almost empty toilet and walk straight to mirror, after looking at myself I turn my back and lean on the sink for support while listening to 'You make my heart go' by VOEUX and think again about the moment before. I find myself thinking about his hungry eyes focused on me. I look up when I hear the bathroom doors and stay in shock. It's him. I look into his eyes and see the angry look as he walks straight to me.

,,If you say that you didn't stop thinking about me from that bump I will totally understand'' said the mysterious man.

I look up at him and slowly nod my head

,,I fucking don't know what is happening to me tonight, I saw you the moment you walked into the club." he said and continued with "you looked like an angel that wanted to be a devil for night'' I'm still looking at him and I'm just speechless. Come on Alissa say something, anything ,,I want you'', not that Alissa. But in that moment I didn't feel anything anymore just his lips on mine and I let myself go. It was a really weird and nice moment, but in a second something clicked and I suddenly stopped myself, pushing him away ,,NO'' I said.

I take my purse and run to the door, I run fast to our booth take my jacket and say goodbye to Tommy, Mia and Carmen and exit club. When I'm out and in the fresh air, I stop myself and try to clear my thoughts.

What the hell just happened ?! It was perfect, yes, he and his kiss but at the same time when it started to feel good, my mind was just flushed with the memories of my past and I felt it again, that burn in my body that brought me back to reality. I lift my hand to call a taxi that is coming my way when I hear a ,,Hey'' I turn around and see him running towards me ,,What was that'' he asked me and well I was kind of asking myself the same thing. I look at him and without thinking I say ,,A mistake''

As I see my taxi driver pull up I turn around and leave. Leaving him on the sidewalk with a face filled with shock. I tell driver my address and sit quietly until I'm in front of my hotel. I walk into my room and as soon as I close door I lean my whole body on that cold piece of wood, and ask myself one more time - What the hell was that Alissa ?!
