Chapter 4

Dominic

Around 6pm my taxi came to stop in front of beautiful white mansion in Bloomingtown, not going to lie I was in shock after I saw what this party looks like. At the entrance is a red carper that start at the gates and stretches all the way to the entrance in the house. On each side is one doorman and two waitresses next to them that hold platters with drinks. As soon as I exit the taxi I notice Franco on the sidewalk, he's looking at his watch and probably thinking how I'm going to be late again, so I quietly laugh to myself because I know my friend. I cross the street and walk up to him. ,,Don't make that face, I'm here and as you can see I'm not late.'' ,,Good, I was just thinking about calling you'' I laugh at him. What did I just tell you?!  Before we walk in we take a glass of champagne from the waitresses and notice James and some women next to him, probably his wife, so we walk up to them and when James noticed us he put a big friendly smile on his face and so does the women next to him. ,,Welcome gentlemen, I hope you didn't have problem finding us'' ,,Thank you for inviting us, no problem, taxi driver knows every address'' he smiles and so does the women so I turn my head to her and introduce myself ,,Dominc Watson, ma'am'' ,,Gentlemen, this is my wife Helena'' me and Franco nod our heads and smile at her, while Franco introduces himself to her ,,I'm glad I have a chance to meet you, I hope you will enjoy at party, we try to please everyone'' ,,Thank you, party is marvelous, really nice work'' I smile. After we exchange a couple more words Franco and I walk to the garden and walk to some of high tables.

While I'm scanning the garden I notice that there is a lot of wealthy people on this party and almost everyone knows each other, guess it's like that when you live in a small city. I'm not used to that, if I'm being honest I don't know even who my first neighboor is and frankly I don't care. I wasn't used to being with a lot of people in my life, I'm not that friendly. I have my small circle and for me that's enough. I meet a lot of people through my business, but I don't stay friend with those people. James is the first person that became that. I have Franco, Jake, Magda and Natalie and that's enough for me. I turn my head to see what Franco and Martin, James's brother and partner, talking and see something or better yet someone that makes my heart beat faster. She's here. My Angel is here and she noticed me. She's looking at me with those beautiful green eyes, and judging by her reaction she's surprised with this as am I.

I turn my head to Franco and say that I will be back soon, I don't think he heard me but who cares. I start walking to her and when she noticed that, she ran away to her friends. I remember them from last night. Why are you running from me angel ?! Don't you know that I need you ?! I look at her and I smile before I return to our table but I don't stop looking at her. You will be mine, angel. I promise you that.

Alissa

The man I was thinking about the whole day is here. Few steps from me, and he's making me nervous. WHO IS HE ?! And what is he doing here, at my parents party?! When I see him coming towards me I quickly walk towards my friends and disappear in my friends crowd. I'm so not ready to talk to him, and I made a good decision. ,,Hi guys, you all look amazing, how and when did last night ended'' ,,Oh look is our lost girl in flesh, thank you honey, you look amazing too'' Tommy answers and I smile at him. ,,We went home around 5am'' says Mia with a little shame smile. ,,Woow, so you waited for the sunrise in the club, nice'' I smile at my friends that I'm incredibly thankful for. Tommy and Mia are my baby friends. I've known them literally my whole life. Our parents were college friends, and they stayed friends until this day and problably will be friends until death does them apart. On the other hand how Carmen and I became friends is weird and funny. We were frenemies in our middle school. We hated each other and yes you can guess, it was because of this boy Theo that we were both in love with, but after we found our selves in the same class in high school, we decided that Theo is not worth it, and became best friends  ,,Did something interesting happen after I left or did you just continue drinking even more'' ,,Well nothing interesting, except my bathroom sex'' I look at Carmen and burst out laughing. Yap, that's Carmen, crazy as usual.

While my friends are occupied planing next crazy visit to the club I put my head up to look for him, finding him looking straight towards me. His look does something to my body, and I don't know how he does that, but I blame that hungry look he's giving me. He wants me, I can feel that. And the only problem is that I feel the same. But how can I trust him ?! How can I know if he's going to hurt me or not ?! I owe myself at least a conversation, to straight things up and put an end to this, whatever THIS is. I tell my friends that I need to see something, and will be back soon, and as soon as I start to walk towards him he puts the biggest smile I have ever seen that leave me breathless. He's beautiful.

,,Hi'' I say so quietly that I'm not sure he even heard me ,,Hi, Angel'' But he did. I look at him and again I find that smile on his face. ,,I wanted to clear things up from last night.'' His smile disappears and now he's serious. ,,Last night was a mistake, I will say that alcohol did it's thing, I'm sorry that I asked you to kiss me and I'm sorry if I was rude, that was not my intention'' ,,Oh angel, don't say that'' I look at his face and it looks like he's hurt ,,Last night was perfect for me, and I don't care that it was just one kiss, I'm not sorry that you asked me that, I would kiss you million times more, and don't think that you were rude, the only rude person was me and that is just because you spin my head around.'' I smile even do I shouldn't. ,,And what now?'' I ask, and continue ,,I think that I was wrong, you say I'm not, and if we're being honest I don't even know your name, there you have it, I kissed a person who's name I don't even know.'' He laugh and hold out his hand ,,Dominic Watson, pleasure to me you'' I take his hand ,,Alissa Pierson, pleasure is all mine'' he put my hand down and I stay in shock, what happened? ,,Pierson'' he asks ,,What is James Pierson to you?'' why is he asking me about my dad, I mean I guessed that he knew him somehow, he is at his party for God's sake. I look at him with a weird expression ,,James is my father, why?'' I can hear him cursing ,,This is not good'' what ,,I don't understand, what's not good?'' ,,Nothing is good with this, in 2 weeks your father will become my partner, and angel let me tell you, I never mix my private and business life.'' I answer with truth ,,I didn't know that'' I mean dad does tell me some stuff about his work but not everything ,,It's good angel, we figured this out at beginning, and now we can continue with our own life'' after he said that I freeze. ,,Alright'' I say and turn my back and leave him.

I'm back at my table all confused. If my plan was to go there and end whatever that was, why do I feel like this now?! I feel like I'm broken into a million peaces, but why? I should be happy. Shouldn't I?
