Make Believe- Tantrums & Make Believe *Chapter 21*

*Bethany's Pov*

It was 2:00 am... Mostly everyone was tried, and asleep... I wasn't. I was waiting for Connor to get here... I was waiting for him to call me, I was waiting for him the whole day and night... But it was final... He just forgot about this. It hurts my feelings how I didn't even receive a call from him... Nor a stupid, simple text!

"B-beth? Why are you still awake? C'mon, you need to sleep!" Cameron woke up.

"Cam.. No. I still need to wait for him! I still need to.. He'll come.. He wi-"

"Beth... Stop falling for his little dumb tricks!"

"T-tricks?! What do you mean? Is he like... Playing with me?! Cheating?"

"B-beth-"

"TELL ME! TELL ME! CAMERON!"

"NO!"

"Sometimes, I think you're too over-attached to Con. You'll finally see his tricks at the right time." Cameron ended our conversation.

"I don't care what you think". I sobbed. "I know Connor well! Don't treat me like I don't."

"And don't treat me like I didn't warn you once you've found out."

"Thanks for the stupid support." I continued to cry.

*Connor's Pov*

Meredith was laying beside me.. We were happy there were not a single distraction... But until I remembered about Bethany and her annual party.

"Dang.. Shit."

"Con, why?"

"Um.. N-nothing. Don't worry."

"You know what Con... I kinda feel bad for not going to Beth's party. Like c'mon she was the very first youtube friend that I had.. And first beauty guru I watched. She's basically a close friend to me!"

"'l'll explain to her. Don't worry babe. I know she'll understand."

*Bethany's Pov*

I woke up... Seeing almost everybody gone. Cameron and Carter was the only one I see. I stretched my arms, still feeling tears on my hands.

"Morning, beauty!" Cameron said.

"H-hey... Morning Cam. Carter."

"You hungry? We can, um.. Cook you food?" Carter requested.

"No thank you. I guess I'm not in the mood to eat."

"And why?" Carter asked.

"Um. I'll get ready. I still have to go Christmas shopping." I ran to my room.

"Guesssss, she's not okay?" Carter giggled.

"Shut up.. Connor's been driving her like that." Cameron sighed.

Cam was right.. Con has been driving me crazy lately.. I need an explanation from him, I need to know why he didn't arrive yesterday and why he didn't answer my texts and calls.

I put my hair on a bun and hopped in the shower. All I was thinking about was Connor. He makes me go insane and makes me nervous at times.

I got out the shower and grabbed my clothes beside the sink. My outfit was plainly classy and laid back. For my hair I just let it be natural since my hair was soaaaaking wet.

"Guys, I'll head off now..." I grabbed my keys.

"If you want I can come?" Cam asked.

"Um, sure! Why not Cam? You can bring Carter with you."

"Yaaas! Christmas shopping at last. I can finally buy Mags a gift." Carter yelled as he grabbed his white snapback.

"Hm.. You guys are such a cute couple." I smiled.

"I'm sure you and Con are too." He replied.

"Anyways, c'mon. Lets's go." Cam said.

We drove to the Palm Spring Mall and cars pass... One car caught my full attention. I thought I just missed sight who was inside the car. It mostly looked like Connor... With a girl... She was beautifully pale... She had a really light, chestnut brown hair colour. Her cheeks were cute and puffy... It was the moment I pulled myself together. It was the moment I called Connor... I dialed him, while I kept on watching the two people inside the car. As I watch the beautiful girl, and dialing Connor, I saw the guy who was driving, pick up his phone... It was such a coincidence... Or it was actually Connor himself. Well, he looked like Connor! His smile, his hair.. But I didn't really see him that well since our cars were not beside each others lane and he wore sun-glasses.

"Who's that?" A very familiar voice echoed through my phone.

He ended the call, and the guy in the car looks like he ended a call from his phone. Everything matched and made sense.. Was it actually Connor? Was he actually with Mere the whole day and night yesterday? My head just blew up. I felt numbness. I felt so weak and breathless.

"Beth!" Cam woke me up. "Are you okay? You've been blank for a while now! We're already here! We were like calling you, but you were just staring at that car beside us."

"I'm okay.. I'm good."

"Are you sure?" Carter asked.

"Sure."

*Meredith's Pov*

Me and Connor were headed off to the close distanced mall here. We can finally go Christmas shopping and do more Vlogmas! I was sooo excited because Christmas shopping just brings me joy, mostly when Con's with me! I was so happy we're both finally okay now. I mean he was just adjusting but now, I know he loves me more than anything and I feel the same for him.
