Through This Dance

Chapter 1

It was Friday night in JFK Airport as Liv Hunter was boarding her flight to Los Angeles, California as she was talking on the phone. "Yeah, I'm just boarding now" as she held the phone against her cheek to give the lady her plane ticket. "I know! I find out tomorrow who my partner is!" Said Liv as the lady gave back her plane ticket she grabbed it and pulled her suitcase along. Liv was walking through the hallway to get on the plane, still on her phone, "I'm so nervous though, I don't want to disappoint him." She said. Liv put her suitcase in the cover, sighed and sat down, "Well, I'm about to take off, I'll talk to you tomorrow" She waited a second, "I love you too, bye Mom!" And Liv hung up her phone. As the plane was taking off, Liv looked out of her window and stared at the starry New York City sky and blew it a kiss goodbye. She looked out the window and warmly smiled until she finally drifted off into sleep. Liv dreamt that she was on the Dancing with the Stars stage and ready to dance for the first time, she was in her position when suddenly she heard voices in her head saying, "You're no one!" or "I hope you fail!" and "He doesn't deserve you!". Liv realized it was the audience, judges, contestant and her partner saying that! She tried to run out of the studio, but the doors were locked and she kept hearing a bumping noise. Liv was squirming around in her plane seat and awoke to find that it was all just a bad dream, and the bumping noise was just the plane hitting the ground. She looked out her window to see the sun shining and beautiful Palm trees. The flight attendant said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, please remove your seats to the up right position, we have reached our designation. Welcome to Los Angeles, California" Liv looked up and smiled.
