Chapter 11

Liv got to the studio a half an hour later and when she walked in, she saw Derek with his headphones on listening to music. Liv snuck up behind Derek and grabbed his shoulders while she screamed, "WHERE'S THE MONEY?!" and when she said that Derek was startled and Liv was laughing. Derek turned to Liv, "Damn it, Liv!" He said, "I'm sorry, but it's a Liv Hunter tradition to scare my partner every chance I get!" She said and then smiled when Derek hugged her. "Hey" he said, "Hey" Liv said back, they walked to their rehearsal space, "So this week, we have the rumba to One Direction's 'You & I'" said Derek and Liv looked interested, "Let's do it" she said. Derek and Liv practiced their rumba all day until 10:30 PM, and then Derek said he had another surprise for Liv, when he got back he had a pizza box and candles in his hands. "This is your definition of 'Romance'?" Asked Liv "HEY!" Said Derek, offended, but he laughed anyway, they lit the candles and ate the entire pizza, when they finished it they were stuffed and exhausted. "I'm so happy, how well this is going" said Liv and Derek smiled warmly at Liv and grabbed her hand, "Me too" he said, but he had this gut feeling that Tiffany would get mad if she and Derek were together and she would try to hurt Liv. Liv noticed Derek's face, "You okay?" She asked, "Yeah" said Derek, not looking in Liv's eyes and lying to her at the same time. "Well, can you look me in the eyes?" Liv asked offendedly and Derek snapped, "I DON'T HAVE TO LOOK INTO YOUR GREEN MONSTER EYES IF I HAVE TO! OKAY?! JESUS CHRIST YOUR AN ASS!" He said and Liv looked angry and defeated as she packed her stuff. "I gotta go" she said to Derek as she left the rehearsal space, Derek realized he made a mistake, "Liv-" he tried to say, but it was too late. Liv slammed the door and left the studio with nothing, but a broken heart and Derek stayed in the studio for he was feeling like an ass alright.
