I felt a very harsh stare I looked up to see Angelo glaring at me I looked over at Zathrian to see him glaring at Angelo

"Angelo! Do you have something you want to say to her!" Zathrian shout

He clenched his jaw and shot me another nasty glare

"Why would you fall for a Preston, we already have one in our family that's enough why do you have to bring in another one come on brother I know you can do way better," he said spitting the Preston name with hatred like it's poison

"You're disrespecting me, my family, and most importantly my daughter," Dad spoke up, his voice laced twice as much with anger, why does he hate Preston specifically me and his dad and mine seem very close. 

"Angelo, stop all this crap," his father said

"No offense to you, Elijah, I don't have a problem with anyone else just her the one grown by Lucio we can't trust her never" he spats

"Angelo, I suggest you hold your tongue before you lose it," Zathrian threatens seriously

"No, let him speak, obviously he has a lot to say," I finally spoke up

"Zathrian you went for the one that was raised by Lucio himself, I hate that man and I hate her, how do we know for sure that she's not here to finish us," he says pointing his fork at me

"You know what else is messed up the fact that she suddenly appeared out of nowhere and to top it off she's a fucking puttana," he said looking at me with distaste

Everyone looks at each other as those words leave his mouth

"Enough!" Zathrian voice boomed slamming his hand on the table everyone jumped upon hearing his voice

"Angelo please stop," Amanda plead

"Go ahead defend your puttana you're so infatuated with her you can't even see that she's using you, you'll regret it" Angelo shouts with as much anger as they aren't scared of each other

"Brother please stop they've known each other before she came here if she's using him she would've been a little more interested in his life," Amara said very irritated

"What!" His parents shouted in union Amara bit her lip and went back to eating silently, everyone from his family was shocked "I shouldn't have said anything" she muttered

Angelo was shocked "So you've been with this bitch while she's with Lucio unbelievable" he shouted

I'm not saying anything anger is bubbling within me I clenched my jaw tightly and balled my hand in a tight fist, Zathrian wasn't saying anything either and from the way he was looking I knew he was really angry

"We're finished for the night" he finally said snapping me out of my evil thought

I felt him gently pulled me up

"Good night," I say in a barely audible voice and he pulls me away.

"Do you want us to go to my home,"

"I can deal with your brother, I've dealt with worse," I told him

"You don't deserve it,"

I kept quiet until we got to the room, I started undressing while he went straight to the balcony, I shortly joined him by sitting on his lap

We sat in comfortable silence, neither of us saying anything

"I'm going on a business trip," he says breaking the silence

I stared at him for a while then asked, "Where are you going?"

"To France, I have a very important package I need to clear and I also have a business to attend to," he says
