The time had finally come to go visit Deku, and I rode with Inko to give her company while my parents drove behind us. I had been waiting rather impatiently the last couple of hours to see him, and after the events of this morning, I felt like I needed to. Though I didn't need to worry about Iida and Asui, they had messaged me to let me know they got home fine. And as for those villains, I hadn't seen any news information on them yet. And I hadn't informed my parents, either. If I did they'd never let me leave the house again.

On the topic of Deku, I was a little worried that they called Inko down to the hospital, but she told me everything seemed fine over the phone. She figured it would be to fill out paperwork or something. I was honestly a little excited to see Deku again, even though I've seen him almost every day in the last two weeks.

We pulled into the hospital's parking lot and got out as my mother and father pulled into the next available parking space two cars down. We waited for them to get to us before heading in. I got a message on my phone and checked it.

[Tenya Iida 12:52pm]: Psst, turn around! :)

I turned around and there was Iida, running up to us and waving. As Inko waved hello, I was completely shocked. How, wha? Why was he here?!

"Iida?! What're you doing here?!" I questioned, dumbfounded.

"Well, I was here to visit my brother since he was transferred here last night. I take it you're here to visit Midoriya? What a coincidence!" Iida stated.

"Iida, it's been a while! How are you feeling since the incident?" Inko asked.

"I'm as good as new, thanks for your concerns. Mind if I tag along and visit Midoriya, too? I figured I'd see him for a few since I'll be sending a few hours with my brother," Iida asked.

"Sure, I'm sure he'll like that," Inko stated. We all began to walk, as Iida put a hand on my shoulder and whispered.

"Did you tell them about this morning? I won't bring it up if you didn't," Iida whispered.

"No, my parents would never let me leave their sight if I did," I whispered back.

"What're you two whispering about?" My mom asked.

"Oh, uh... nothing, mom!" I stated. She then casually moved back to me.

"So this is Iida, huh? Do you like him? He kinda cute after all," my mother whispered. I shot her a death glare.

"You know very well who has my heart, mother! Iida's just a good friend!" I whispered back. She had figured out that I liked Deku about a week ago. Luckily she's kept it between us.

"Hmm, now what're YOU two talking about?" My father asked.

"N-nothing!" We both replied.

That earned a giggle from everyone, including Iida. Once we entered the hospital, we all got checked in, my Mother giving Iida the all-clear to come with us. We piled into the elevator, and I was smiling, which Iida caught note of.

"Excited to see Midoriya?" He asked.

"Yeah. I always enjoy being able to see him," I replied. "I like to think it makes him happy."

"I'm sure he does, you're his best friend after all. And once he wakes you you can tell him all about it," Iida stated, smiling at me. "He'd like to hear that he always had a friend by his side."

When Deku wakes up, I'm ready to tell him how I feel. How I truly feel. That I... love him. That none of this was his fault and that I was always here by his side. He needs to know that I care so much for him and that I'd always be by his side. We got to his room, and Inko opened the door first to reveal a doctor standing by Deku.
