35 | Goodbye | ~ Ethan

~~~Your POV~~~

I loaded the last box of my things into my car. I walked back in my New Jersey house and sighed as my parents walked into the living room.

"Y/n don't do anything stupid that you'll regret cause I did and I never forgave myself fully." My mom said with tears in her eyes.

"So your saying don't do anything you wouldn't do." I chuckled hugging her tightly.

"Yes of course!" She said.

"Y/n you chase your dreams alright?" My dad said hugging me as well.

"Okay I promise." I replied pulling away.

I walked up the stairs to my room and looked around at how empty it was. So many good memories in this room. It had been the room I have lived in since the day I was born.

"Y/n someone is here to see you before you leave!" My mom called from the bottom of the stairs.

I walked down and saw my boyfriend Ethan standing there with his arms open wide for me to hug him. I ran down the stairs and just melted into his arms.

"I gonna fucking miss you." I whispered as tears ran down my face.

"Listen we'll make this work. FaceTime every night. I'll come visit you whenever I can." Ethan said placing his hands on my shoulders.

"Promise?" I asked him.

"I promise." He reassured me.

I got my backpack and phone then said goodbye to my mom and dad. Ethan walked me out to my car and I put my backpack in the passenger seat.

"Well I have about an hour before my flight I wanna go say bye to your family." I said as Ethan nodded.

"Yeah let's go." Ethan said giving me a small kiss then getting in the passenger seat of my car.

We drove to his house then went in to say bye to everyone.

"Y/n are you leaving today?" Lisa asked walking over to me.

"Yeah I'm going to Colorado." I replied smiling.

"Oh my goodness you all are growing up." Lisa says looking at Ethan and I and also Grayson who had just entered the room.

"I packed the remainder of our stuff. Oh hey Y/n!" Grayson said hugging me.

"Hey Gray. Whose ready to become college students!" I said excitedly making him and Ethan smile.

"Oh let me get a picture of you three." Lisa said getting out her phone.

We posed for a picture and Lisa showed it to us.

"Damn I'm really short." I joked making everyone laugh.

"Okay well I have a flight to catch I wanted to say bye before I left." I said then everyone's smiles dropped and then looking at me sadly.

"We are going to miss you y/n." Lisa said hugging me tightly.

"Yes I'll miss you too I'll be back visiting very soon." I said pulling away.

"I don't know if we'll see you at the airport so bye I'll miss you lots too. You're like my little sister. Have fun in Colorado." Grayson said hugging me.

"Thanks bye guys." I said grabbing Ethan's hand as he walked me out to my car.

"I don't know what I'll do without you." I said as he kissed the top of my hand.

"I don't know either. I mean you're going to Colorado and Gray and I are going to California. But we will make it work. I have so much love for you I am more than willing to make this work." Ethan said pulling me closer to him.

I laid my head on his chest and we stood like this for a minute or two.

"Okay I'm going to be late." I sighed pulling away looking into his beautiful big brown eyes.

"I love you Y/n." Ethan said giving me a kiss.

"I love you too." I said as a tear slipped out of my eye.

"Don't think of it as goodbye. Think of it as a see you soon okay?" Ethan said wiping the tear away with his thumb.

I nodded taking his advice and thinking of it as a see you soon.

"See you later Dolan." I said as my voice cracked. He smiled at me.

"Later y/l/n." He said hugging me one last time then walking in his house to finish his packing.

I got in my car then pulled out of the drive way. I drive down to the airport as once I got there I walked through security and was ready to go but the problem was my flight got delayed one hour.

I wasn't sure what to do in this time so I sat around and walked to see if I could find something to do.

While walking I saw Ethan and Grayson getting on their plane Ethan spotted me and waved. I waved back and he just smiled but had to leave because he would miss his flight.

After an hour of waiting I got a text from Ethan.

Hey our plane hasn't taken off yet did your flight get delayed?

Hey! Yeah an hour but I think it's about to take off so I think I should go but I hope you two have a great flight I'll call you when I land.

Okay love you!

Love you too!

I put my phone in my backpack then boarded my plane.

Man will I miss everyone in Jersey.
