~~~Ethan's POV~~~

I sighed holding Y/n's hand in mine. Her breathing was slowing down. The beeping in the hospital room was slow and far between. I looked over at the twins and Grayson who were ready to leave the hospital.

"I can't leave without you y/n." I said quietly holding her hand to my chest.

"Ethan I can't come with you and I never will be able too. This was the plan for God." Y/n whispered with a raspy voice.

"Y/n please don't say that." I said as a tear rolled down my cheek looking at her in her miserable state.

"Ethan it's for the best. I'm just going to keep hurting." Y/n whispered kissing my cheek.

"I love you." I said as a few more tears fell.

"I love you too Ethan. Grayson come here." Y/n said calling as loudly as her quiet voice could call to him.

"Yeah?" Grayson asked kneeling next to me.

"You two were my beat friends. You just make me so happy." She said closing her eyes then opening them again slowly.

"Please take good care of my babies." She added then her breathing slowed even more.

"I promise they will be well taken care of Y/n." Grayson said as a tear fell from his eye.

"I love you." Y/n said smiling weakly.

"Let me see the babies." She added slowly.

I got out the Twins with the help of Grayson and she held them as they slept.

"Asher, Adelyn, grow up to be what you want to be okay? Never let anyone stop you. Please remind them how much I love them." She said looking back up at me.

"They will know I promise." I choked out as tears streamed down my face.

"Okay take them." She said as a tear fell from her eyes as well.

We put the babies back into their car seats ready to go and then I went back to Y/n's side.

"Ethan it was an amazing 4 years." Y/n said slowing her breathing even more.

"Y/n please stay with me." I begging holding her hand.

"I love you." She said taking her last breath then the eerie long beep echoed in the room.

I looked at the screen above her hospital bed and saw a straight line. I laid my head next to her as I cried.

When the nurses came in they took her away. I sighed as tears streamed down my face.

Grayson and I took the car seats and got into the car.

I sighed starting it and then just cried again knowing that I was supposed to be in the car with y/n taking our babies home for the first time.

"E I'm so sorry." Grayson choked as I pulled out.

I couldn't get out a single word. I was lost in my thoughts not knowing what the fuck to do. I had to raise two babies by myself. I need my partner in crime, my best friend, my wife.

//twins are 4 months old//

I walking into the living room shaking up the bottles for the twins.

Grayson was holding Asher and I held Adelyn as they ate. It's been 4 months without Y/n and I still miss her more than anything. Grayson and I moved in together again and it's been great it's just I miss all the fun times with Y/n.
