42 | Carnival | ~ Ethan

~~~Your POV~~~

"Come on Y/n we have to go!" Ethan said tackling you into the bed making you laugh.

"Ok I'm coming where are we even going?" I asked pushing him off me.

"A fun surprise." Ethan said grabbing my hand as he brought me to his car.

We got in and he began to drive with Kid Cudi in the background of course.

Once we arrived I quickly put together it was a carnival.

"You brought me to the carnival?" I asked excitedly.

"Yep!" He said just as excitedly as I was.

We walked in bought tickets then went to the first ride in sight. After a ride or two he grabbed my hand and dragged me over to a few games they had set up.

"Two shots please." Ethan said handing the man two 5 dollar bills.

He of course being super sweet tried his best to get me the biggest stuffed animal ever. He missed one so he got a medium sized dolphin which he knew was my favorite animal.

"Here." He said giving me the animal and putting an arm around my shoulders.

"Aww Ethan that's so sweet." I said grabbing the hand that was hanging from my shoulder.

"Okay now what?" Ethan asked.

"Ooh funnel cake!" I said excitedly.

"Oh those are my favorite." Ethan said walking up to the booth they were sold at.

He bought one for us to share and we found a table to sit at.

"Are you having fun so far?" Ethan asked putting a piece of funnel cake in his mouth.

"Yeah thank you so much this is the best date idea you've ever had." I said doing the same.

"What about the romantic beach side dinner?" Ethan asked jokingly.

"Oh you know I'm a child on the inside and I love things like this." I said making him laugh.

Once we finished the funnel cake we went on this ride that was kinda like a smaller version of tower of terror at Disney. It was really fun. Of course I held onto Ethan's hand the whole time.

"That was so fun!" I exclaimed excitedly clinging onto Ethan as we walked to another ride.

"I'm glad you're having a good time." Ethan said happily.

"We only have enough tickets for one more ride." I said sadly.

"Yeah but I have a feeling this will be a good one." Ethan said as we turned the corner to see the Ferris wheel.

"Oh my god like in those chick flicks! The cute couple ALWAYS goes on the Ferris wheel." I said smiling.

"And of course you know that." Ethan joked rolling his eyes.

I smacked her arm dragging him to the short line. We got on and soon the Ferris wheel began to move. Once we reached the top I could see everything.

"Oh my god." I whispered looking all around as Ethan held my hand like he always does.

"The view is nice huh?" He asked smiling.

"Oh so nice I love it!" I said excitedly.

"You're just like a little kid at the fair y/n." Ethan chuckled.

"I know well to be honest I've only ever been to a carnival once in my life before now. Yeah I've been to like Disney but carnivals they just hit different you know?"

Ethan chuckled nodding as he looked around.

Slowly we started to descend and finally we reached the ground. Once we got off it the sun wasn't even showing anymore. I looked around at all the lit up rides and booths.

"You never really appreciate the world until you take time to slow down huh?" I said looking around some more taking in how beautiful it was.

"Yeah I agree." Ethan said smiling at me.

We spent a bit walking back to the car then we went home to his shared house with Grayson.
