It was your first day doing actual work. You were in Studio B with Teddy, Vince and Somi, where they were preparing for Somi's comeback. Somi was a bubbly Canadian-Korean girl, so given that you were both western and spoke English you got along well. She was cute and fun to be around.

As you were the junior producer in the room, you were given some fairly basic tasks such as mixing and mastering Somi's different demo tracks. Meanwhile she was recording vocals in the booth. You made easy work of the mixing/mastering, since was really basic for someone of your skill level. You joined Teddy and Vince where they were watching Somi sing.

Teddy looked over at you. "Hey man, I know you want to watch her sing but I gave you that job to do" he said seriously.
"I'm done."
"What? All 7 songs?"
"You bet."
He went over to your computer to check your work. He looked up with a smile on his face. "Well it seems I underestimated you buddy. This is top notch work, and it took you no time at all."
You chuckled and accepted his bro fist. That day you also met Zion.T, Kush, and R. Tee, all artists/producers at THEBLACKLABEL. Everyone was cool and super chill. I'm going to enjoy this job, you thought to yourself.
