Chapter 10: Not Close Enough

It was time to meet my new partner. I was on my way to Zee with Belle. When I reached there I saw the door was open. "Zee? I'm here!" I yelled. "Ah. Come in, kid." Zee said from behind the couch. "Why are you there?" I asked confused. "I hid  some weapons over here. You can use them on your mission." He answered my question. "Go to the back. Your partner is waiting for you." He said and disappeared again behind the couch. I went towards my new partner. I know I'm going to see Lisa. It can't be someone else. This will be awkward after what happened last time.

"I don't know why you're doing this, Lisa. This will be put you into danger." I said and looked up at her. My eyes widen when I didn't saw the girl I expected to be there. "A-are you the Golden Maknae?" The girl in front of me asked shocked. "That's what Zee called me once." I said. "I don't want this anymore." The girl said. "I don't want to work with you. I'm scared."

"But... I thought you saw me as a friend already." I said a little bit sad. So Picture crush is literally only on picture. But if she was scared... why did she let me in when we were alone? "I don't. I'm scared of you. That photoshoot was only because Lisa was there too and i didn't want to see her sad." Y/n said. "But what do you mean, you're scared?" She looked at the ground. "I- I don't know." She said and went towards Zee. 

"Zee, I don't want to work with him." I heard her talking to Zee. I didn't hear Zee's words. I went towards them and said, "Zee, I guess I'll go. I will find someone else for this." With that I left the house. But what I saw outside made me stop and hide behind a tree. Belle sat behind me. She knows exactly what's happening. 

A tall man was looking through the window. He must be there for just a few seconds because he didn't see me going out. I saw him smirking. I immediately went inside again and called for Zee. "Zee! Someone is watching you! Don't make it obvious you know but keep Y/n here for a while!" I whisper-yelled. "Do you know that person or is he or she new?" I didn't recognise him but he didn't look new either. "I don't know him but he isn't a new one either. It seems like he knows what he's doing." I said while standing behind the door so that guy wouldn't see me too. "Alright, Kid, I will keep Y/n here for a while. You can go if you want." Zee spoke and with that I left. 

I entered my house and went towards the kitchen. I cooked dinner and start eating. after dinner I sat on the couch and watched a movie with Belle. Suddenly my phone starts ringing. Tae? "Hello hyung." I greeted. "Yo Jungkook! How are you?" Should I tell him about Y/n? Maybe not because he will be mad at her. I don't want that to happen. "I'm good. I'm just a little bit... annoyed." I decide to say. "Why tho?" Tae asked confused. "My partner didn't know it was me she was about to work with and didn't want anymore when she saw me." I heard Tae laughing a little. "Wow. That's the first girl that didn't want to be with you except for Y/n." I looked at the ground. That's actually true. Only Y/n didn't want to be near me. "Yeah..." I said simply. "Anyway, I called to ask you to keep an eye on Y/n. I heard from Zee she was about to help someone with a mission. I don't want her to die, you know." Yeah, I don't want that either. "I will. Don't worry." "Okay. Thanks bro. Now I can sleep peaceful. Bye" He said and cut the call.

It was late at night. I was looking through the window when I suddenly saw the light in Y/n's room turn on. I saw some shadows of her behind the curtains. But she wasn't alone. There was someone inside the room. A man. A tall man. The man from earlier?! I rushed downstairs and took my gun. I ran outside and forced the door of Y/n's house open. I did it as quiet as possible. I ran upstairs without making a noise. I opened the door a little to see what's happening. I saw Y/n sitting the corner of her room. She was scared. The man was trying to rip her pants off. Her shirt was already on the floor.

That's it! I won't let her get raped! I pushed the door open. I walked inside with my gun aimed on the mad. Y/n had her hands in front of her eyes and was crying. "If you don't move away from her I will shoot!" The man backed off. Y/n ran to me and hid behind me. "Oh come on. I finally was able to something to her." He said smirking. Disgusting. "Sorry not sorry the ruin it." I said. "I'm gonna ask it kindly. Go away and let me do whatever I want with her." That man is really stupid. "You stupid guy." He glared at me. "Maybe you didn't hear me. I said go away and let me have a good night with her." Y/n gripped my shirt tighter than she already did. "Sure, I will go away. But I will not let you rape her. Say goodbye." I said and shoot him. The bullet hit his head. He fell down and... was dead. I looked at Y/n and took her in my arms. 

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you? Did he already something bad to you? When did he came here?" I asked worried. "He pushed me on the ground and I hurt my ankle but I was just scared. And he ripped my shirt off." That's when I realised she stood there with only her pants but no shirt. I took her shirt from the floor and gave it to her. She took it but didn't put it on yet. "Can I sleep at your house?" She asked. "Sure. I will clean the mess I made. Belle will keep you company. Where's Lucky?"  Her eyes widen. "Lucky!" She yelled and ran downstairs.

"Lucky!" She yelled again. I saw Lucky on the ground. He was bleeding. "Take him to my house. There are bandage and medicines in the bathroom. Belle will help you find it." I said. She ran outside and called Belle so she won't be alone on the street for those 5 seconds. I find it cute but I'm still worried. She's right. Belle better keep her company while she's alone. I took the body over my shoulder and went downstairs. I took a towel and wrapped it around his head so my car wouldn't be get bloody when I put this dirty dead man in it. 

I drove to a forest and soughtfor a good place to dig his grave. I found the perfect place and started digging. I put the man in it and took the towel away. I filled half of the hole with something to hide the smell. I filled it with soil and mud. After I was done I pulled a plant out and planted it on the grave so no one get the stupid idea to take a look under the ground and see that stupid man. When I was done I checked for footprints that I had to hide and went to my car.
