I was waiting for Y/n. She said she'll give me a chance to explain an hour ago but she's still not here. Is she still going to come? I looked at the door, imagining that Y/n appears there.
A tear rolled over my cheek. Without thinking I did something I didn't do for a long time. I start singing
(Please, start the song now)
Lately I've been thinkin', thinkin' 'bout what we had
I know it was hard, it was all that we knew, yeah.
Have you been drinkin', to take all the pain away?
I wish that I could give you what you, deserve
'Cause nothing could ever, ever replace you
Nothing can make me feel like you do.
You know there's no one, I can relate to
And know we won't find a love that's so true.
There's nothing like us, there's nothing like you and me
Together through the storm.
There's nothing like us, there's nothing like you and me
Together.
I gave you everything, baby, everything I had to give
Girl, why would you push me away?
Lost in confusion, like an illusion
You know I'm used to making your day.
But that is the past now, we didn't last now
Guess that this is meant to be.
Tell me was it worth it?
We were so perfect
But baby I just want you to see
There's nothing like us, there's nothing like you and me
Together through the storm.
There's nothing like us, there's nothing like you and me
Together.
There's nothing like us, there's nothing like you and me
Together through the storm.
There's nothing like us, there's nothing like you and me
Together.
"I love you, Y/n. Don't leave me. Stay with me for the rest of your life. I want to grow old with you. I want to have a family with you." I looked out of the window.
A knock was heard on the door. I turned my head and looked at it. "Yes?" I mumbled. The door opened slowly revealing the girl I sang a song for. She stood there with tears rolling down her cheeks. "Please, let me explain." I whispered while looking at her not believing she actually came. She ran up to me and swung her hands around my neck. "I'm sorry." She said while sobbing. I felt my shirt getting wet. I hugged her back and stroke her hair. "I'm so sorry." She kept apologizing. "It's okay. You're here now. I'm happy you're here." I muttered. I tried to stop crying. "I should have believed you." She whispered. "The song made me realize you're right. There is nothing like us. Together through the storm." I tightened my grip on her. "Together through the storm." I whispered in her ear.
TIME SKIP~
I can leave tomorrow from his hospital. Y/n couldn't visit me the past 3 days. Zee kept her home. I'm planning on surprising her. I will pick her up from school tomorrow and take her to a nice restaurant. After that I'll take her to a hotel with a pretty view. And there I will ask her the question I wanted to ask for a long time. I will buy a pretty dress so she doesn't have to spent the time in her school uniform. I'll ask Taehyung to take care of the dogs. So I'm going to call him now.
"Hello, Kook. How are you doing?" He greeted. "I'm good. I can go home tomorrow." I said. "That's great." I could hear Taehyung's family in the background. He's probably in the living room. "Anyway, I wanted to ask you if you could take care of Belle and Lucky. I'm not sure when I'll be back." I came to the point. "Sure. I'll pick them up whenever you want." Taehyung never disappoints. "Can you pick them up tomorrow at 1pm. I probably won't be home." I got up and start packing some stuff so I can leave earlier tomorrow. "Sure. Have fun." Taehyung said and ended the call. I smiled. That's settled. Now I just need to call a restaurant and hotel and I'm done. Not a big deal.
I found the perfect place to eat and sleep. Tomorrow I'll go to the mall to buy a dress. I know what she likes and I already know where I fill buy it. Everything is done.
