We're Not Friends

Camila's POV
This morning I woke up and saw an arm wrapped around me. It was Cole. Our legs were tangled together and my head was snuggled on his chest. I don't know why, but the feeling of him being so close to me made me blush. He was sleeping peacefully and I carefully unwrapped myself from him. I managed not to wake him up, closed the door and went to the kitchen to prepare some breakfast. I still remembered what he said to me yesterday and how Lili said all those horrible things about him. How could she? Cole is literally one of the most amazing people I've ever met.

Cole's POV
As I opened my eyes, I realized that I wasn't in my bedroom. Then I remembered everything that happened yesterday and got a little bit worried, because Camila wasn't there. I walked in the kitchen and saw her placing two plates with eggs and bacon. I cleared my throat so she would notice me.

"Oh, good morning, sleepy head!"

"Mornin', Cam. You made breakfast?"

"Yes. Eggs and bacon."

"Good. I'm really hungry."

God, she looked so beautiful! It was her natural beauty and I realized that this woman doesn't need make-up to be pretty. She's just...wow. I didn't even understood that I was staring at her the whole time.

"You are staring, Sprouse."

"No, I am not."

We both chuckled and finished our breakfast, getting ready to meet with Roberto and the other guys. I thanked Cami for letting me stay at night and rushed to my house.

Camila's POV
I arrived at the restaurant, to which we all agreed to meet, so we could celebrate for the Season 4 finale. Everyone was there. Mads, Vanessa, Lili, KJ, Charles. I heard the bell from behind ringing and it was Cole.

"Cole, Cami! Welcome guys. Let's order, shall we?" Roberto asked and we nodded. I sat next to Cole and Mads. I couldn't stop glaring at Lili. I wanted so bad to confront her and ugh! I quietly started eating my meat, but I couldn't stand the fact that she was acting like nothing happened.

"Excuse me, I need to talk with Lili for a minute," I said, not caring what would Cole think. Lili got up from her seat and followed me till outside.

"You wanted to talk, Cam?"

"Yeah and don't 'Cam' or 'Cami' me, you little innocent bitch. Cole passed by my place yesterday and he was crying. Guess what. He told me the reason HE broke up with you."

"Oh, God...Listen, I--"

"You better shut up! There's no explanation to what you said. Like really? "I wish you were dead"? "You don't deserve to be loved"? What kind of witch are you?!"

"Cole is just overreacting and let me remind you that he said I was boring and predictable."

"HE SAID BETTY WAS, YOU SHIT!"

"I play Betty, genius!"

"You're not the same thing, get over it. Cole is my best friend and you hurted his feelings. You know what? You're the one that doesn't deserve to be loved."

"Oh, shut the hell up, bitch!"

"Fuck you, Reinhart, we're not friends. I was so stupid for being your friend all those years!"

I ran and left her there standing all by herself. I still can't believe that she said Cole didn't deserve to be loved. Everyone loves Cole. I LOVE COLE. Wait--what? No, no, this isn't happening, not right now...!

Cole's POV
Please, God, please! Tell me that Camila didn't just told Lili that I told her the reason we broke up. Oh, who am I kidding? I went outside only to find Lili. Cami was nowhere to be found.

"What did you do to her?"

"I didn't do anything. She did. How could you tell her, Cole?"

"I fucking hate you! Where is she?!"

"I don't know and I don't care! She called me a bitch, why would I fucking give a shit about her?!"

"YOU ARE A FUCKING BITCH, YOU BITCH! I'm gonna find Cami, she must have gone at McDonald's."

"Yeah, ran after your girlfriend."

"Camila is not my girlfriend! And you better go inside this fucking restaurant and choke with your bread!"

I was running to McDonald's. What Cami did for me...Lili was her best friend and she just cut her out of her life because of what she said to me. Does that mean that there's even a 0,00001% to be a bigger part of her life than Lili was? Why am I even thinking about it? I need to find her.

Camila's POV
I was eating some fries at McDonald's. This is the only place that makes me feel happy when I'm sad. I just got in a fight with my ex-bestfriend. I don't know...I don't know how my life's gonna be without her, but Cole is more important than her. She broke him.

"Cami?"

I can't believe this! What is he doing here? Did he talk with Lili?

"Cole. I-I'm here, come and get a sit."

"I talked with Lili."

"Oh.."

"Don't worry. I'm not mad or something. Thank you. For doing this. I mean, you just cut her off your life for me."

"It's not just you, Cole. My life is empty without you. I prefer to cut Lili off than cut you off. I hope you won't get this wrong.."

"No. You're--You're literally the best. My life is meaningless without you, too. Thank you. If I was your boyfriend, I would kiss the shit out of you."

"Are we doing this conversation again?"

I chuckled and Cole laughed.

"Yeah, I mean, I mention this boyfriend thing a lot, but whoever got to be your boyfriend and also kissed you, they were all very lucky. I mean it."

"Aw, Cole, you're so cute."

Cole held my hands and interwined our fingers together. There was an urge that kept saying to kiss Cole and I tried to stop it.

"STOP!"

"What? Stop what?"

"I'm sorry, just a stupid thought."

"Oh. Is it about me?"

"No, no, I'll go and get you a burger."

After a few minutes, I got back to our booth with his order. His favorite double-cheesburger with a king-sized cola and a piece of chocolate cake for dessert.

"Thank you, Cami."

I started gazing at his beautiful eyes and without realizing it, I couldn't let go of the plate and Cole was looking at me with a confused look. I can't do this anymore, I need to do what I feel right, which obviously is the wrong thing, but I did it anyways.

"Cami, is ev--"

I put the plate down, grabbed his face and kissed him.
