I wasn't originally going to make this chapter but someone seemed curious as to why jaemin left. So i decided to make his POV.

Jaemin sat on the couch. Where had time gone? Nothing ever seemed to be the same as before. Where did their love go, it was replaced by hatred. No matter how hard he tried he could never bring himself to make things better.

Renjun and Jaemins relationship had become very toxic. Even if both didn't want to admit it. Jaemin couldn't take it anymore. He wanted renjun to be able to feel real love, even if jaemin wasnt the one giving him it.

He packed his belongings quickly knowing renjun would be home in about 15 minutes. He stopped and wondered. 'do i really wanna do this?' Of course he didn't. He wanted to stay and talk to renjun and work things out. But jaemin knew it wouldnt work.

Jaemin knew that he was meant to be with renjun. Just maybe not in this life. He packed the last of his things and looked around their shared house. He wanted to leave a note, maybe even a text telling renjun he was leaving, but he knew he couldnt. He needed renjun to forget about him. He wanted renjun to not try to find him.

Before he left he looked at their photos together. One of them being their most recent. Oh how Renjuns eyes sparkled that night at the fair. Everything seemed so perfect, but he knew it wasn't. He quickly put the photos away wiping his tears.

"I'm sorry renjun. Im sorry i wasnt strong enough to stay. Im sorry im leaving without even a notice. Im sorry because i know this is wrong but i have to do it. For you, I want you to be with someone who doesn't hurt you like i do."

"I love you Huang Renjun." And without turning back Jaemin walked out of his house and into the uber he called. Seeing Renjuns car pull up right after he started driving away.

'like time suspended,
        a wound unmended--
         you and I.

We had no ending,
         no said good-bye.

For all my life,
        I'll wonder why.'
