As I awoke the next morning, all I remembered from last night was tons of music and guzzling beer. I wished I would've stayed home, but I had school.
I walked down to the kitchen to make some breakfast before I left, but my mom interrupted me while the cereal was going in the bowl
"Kaine wanted you to go by his house after school. "
"What for ? "
"Some shit with school and the bands."
"Okay?"
In the past years I've known Kaine, I've never been to his house. And when I arrive there, I hope he doesn't go on and on about the bands. Bands, bands, bands. That's all he talks about. He wants to go on world tours and all that. But the big one to him, the Vans Warped Tour. His big ass dream.
When I arrived at school, Kaine and Joanna pulled into the parking lot. Both wearing their long loved Hot Topic merch. When the got out of the car, Kaine ran up to me and hugged me tightly.
"Help me Ava, I feel like absolute shit"
"What happened ?"
Joanna jumped into the hug an said "Hangover"
We all felt and looked like a train wreck, so the only thing that we tried to not do today was barf.
After school, I walked to my house to drop off my stuff and my mom dropped me off at Kaine's. I knocked to door and Kaine opened it. When I looked in, I saw a mom, a dad, and a shy little sister behind Kaine.
"Hi Ava, come in."
"Thank you. Hi Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez ."
They both said hi and I tried to talk to Carli, Kaine's sister, but damn she was a shy person.
"Mom, Pop, we're going to the room"
"Alright."
They were both watching some tv show on the best restaurants in America, which showed some pretty good food. We got to the room and Kaine said
"Either we go to eat something or we go to the holy land. I have very important news to tell you." Kaine refers Guitar Center as the holy land, but I choose eat. He told his parents about us going out to eat, and they were okay with it. We drove to the local Mexican eatery to eat. once we got a table, he told me everything
"By the end of the school year, I have to make a very important decision."
"What is it ?"
"Either I go on a 25 gig tour with Meg's of Ryan, or go on The Vans Warped tour with Starring at The Stars."
