When they made it upstairs and opened the door his room, they were welcomed to a shade of navy blue. Looking around, she walked in and sat on one of Damien's black bean bags. "So, uh, what do you have in mind?" Rumor asked.
A few minutes later they were in middle of a mad lib. "Give me a pronoun" said Rumor in a reporter voice. " Uh, how about.. Rumor." Damien answered confidently. She nodded, scribbling her name on the sheet. "And lastly.. give me a place." she demanded, leaning further in the bean bag. "Hmm, I think that Turkey will have to do." Damien replied.
Reading the mad lib, Damien and Rumor were in laughing fits. Once they were done laughing at the sheet of paper, Damien got up and seemed to have grabbed a rectangle box. It was the Game Of Life. Rumor squeeled and covered her mouth, only to uncover it again. "You have the 'Game Of Life'? Oh! Can we play? Only if you don't mind of coarse..." she trailed off. Meanwhile he just chuckled. "Well, isn't that why I brought it over here? Of coarse we can play!"
After they played the 'Game Of Life', the two just ended up talking. "So, Rumor, Want to hang out at school more often? In other terms, be my friend?" Damien asked, almost pleadingly. "Oh uh, sorry, but sure! Why wouldn't I be your friend? you helped me and all.." Rumor replied. Hearing a banging on the door, damien groaned and walked over to the door to answer it. "Tell your lady friend to go Damien. Mom's coming home from work soon, and it's getting dark." Cole muttered. "Okay, okay! Fine. Wait, can you please drive us? since it is getting dark. Your words, not mine." Damien pleaded. While Cole, Damien's brother just sighed and lead them towards his car. "Get in." the brother scoffed. Damien opened the door for Rumor, letting her in first and going in beside her. "No shotgun?" Hmm.. I guess that girl must be special to have that effect.." Rumor heard Cole whisper.
Not even five minutes in, they arrived in front of Rumor's house. While getting out from the car, she muttered a 'thanks' to Cole. Once the two brothers drove off, Rumor turned around and walked up to her house and went inside. The words, 'That girl must be special to have that effect.' ran through her head for the rest of that evening.
