Droplets of water dripped from Rumor's window as last night's down pour began to dry. "Ah....my head.. did I bang it on something..?" Rumor groaned as she sat up from her bed. Stumbling out from the bed, she reached for the door to her bathroom. Rumor covered her head with one hand, and grabbed the tylenol with the other. She scrambled the cap open as another wave of pain overcame her. "Rngh...." the two pills cascaded down her throat and was followed by some water. She sighed as the pain started decreasing little by little. When Rumor finally came out from the washroom, it turned out to be four in the morning. Wiping her tired eyes, she decided to just get ready for the day. First on her morning list was to definetly get changed. From her limited wardrobe, she chose her school's sweater and a pair of plain black leggings. Next up on the list was hair and makeup (Which wasn't a lot). Rumor went back into the restroom and snatched an elastic band. In which she put her hair up in a bun. As for the makeup, Rumor chose to just put on a bit of mascara. "Perfect.." she mumbled. Looking back at the clock once she stepped back into her room, it was still too early for school. She reached for her phone as it started to buzz. Someone had texted her, and it wasn't her friend from her previous school. It was an unknown number. As she read the text, she sighed in relief, knowing that it wasn't just another person sending hate. It was Damien.Damien: Hey, it's me Damien. If you're wondering how I got you're number, the girl named Brook gave it to me. Anyways, how's Tuesday going for you so far?
Rumor: Well hi then! Yeah, my tuesday's going pretty good so far. How about you? :)
Damien: It's okay, but I bet it'll be better when I get to hang with you at school today. ;]
Rumor: Yeah yeah, shouldn't you be getting ready for school?
Damien: Whatever you say mom. Well, see ya at the bus stop.
Rumor: Yup, see ya.
Rumor shut off her phone and stuffed it in her backpack which was leaning on the bed. Looking around the hall way as she started walking downstairs, Rumor recalled yesterdays fiasco and the way Raina smiled at her. Was her sister happy that she's getting bullied by most of the people at school? Nah, if it was Raina who was in that mess, then she supposed it could be a bit funny too. Clearing her head of the nasty thought's that invaded them, she walked down the stairs. As she neared the kitchen, she noticed that it was completely silence. Thank god her mom wasn't home, otherwise she would be bombarding Rumor with questions that don't even matter anymore. Walking in, she chose to make an omelet with onions, lettuce, red peppers, and cheese.
Turning off the burner, and flipping the finished product onto a plate, she set the frying pan on the burner beside the one she used. As she picked up her plate and took a seat at the round table, Raina speed walked in, snatched an apple, and went back out. Well that was odd. Rumor quickly ate the rest of her omelet and went back upstairs to grab her backpack. Once she grabbed her old excuse for a carrying device, she went back downstairs and hurried to the front door. Rumor slipped on her dirty sneakers and rushed outside in excitement trying to make it to the bus stop to meet up with Damien. Time to go back to surviving the impossible.. Crookwood High....
