After that night, Jungkook and Areum made their way home safely, "Thanks again, Jungkook." Areum said softly.

When Jungkook reached home, he couldn't stop thinking about what happened.

He saved Areum.
Areum cried.
He made Areum smile.
He hugged Areum.
Areum laughed.

He smiled to himself, "Hyungs!" he called them. One by one, he heard their voices on the other end. "I made Areum smile!" he exclaimed.

"Wait really! I'm so proud for you!" Hoseok exclaimed. "Just date her already!" Jimin said as he rolled his eyes playfully. "Keep up the good work," Yoongi said as he hung up and went to sleep.

The next day, Jungkook brought Areum around the city as they chatted and took pictures together. "Let's go over there!" Jungkook exclaimed as they ran to a garden filled with a variety of flowers.

Areum had never felt so happy, she posed for the camera and often smiled at Jungkook's excitement.

As each day passed. They hung out together more. And spent more time together. They became closer and their bond was stronger than before. Areum also started to smile more often.

"Areum let's go eat some tteok-bokki!"

"Jungkook! Let's do our homework together!"

"Areum let's take a selca!"

"Jungkook let's have lunch together!"

"Areum, let's hang out after school!"

"Jungkook! Wanna hang out?"

But as time went by, Jungkook's feelings for Areum grew.

Areum too started feeling butterflies in her stomach. She thought it was because she was finally happy.

"Aunt, I've been much happier now that I'm with Jungkook. It's been so, long. I'm so glad I have him as a friend." Areum exclaimed.

Aunt Eunji smiled, "That's nice!" she said smiling.

"And I've been feeling this weird feelings in my stomach, it feels like butterflies!" Areum exclaimed.

"Honey do you know what that means?"

"Of course Aunt! I'm happy!"

"Areum.. You're in love."

Areum stared at her Aunt in shock and denial, "It's not funny!" her aunt looked at her with a serious expression. Areum realised she wasn't joking.

"But what if he doesn't like me?What if my love for him affects our friendship? What if because of my stupid love for him, he stops talking to me and takes my smile with him? "

Aunt Eunji looked at her. "Your love isn't stupid. It's what you do that makes it stupid. You're grown up now.
I'm not going to tell you what to do. It's okay to make mistakes as long as you don't run away from your problems and solve them." With that, Aunt Eunji walked away leaving Areum lost in her thoughts.

'I need to stay away from him. It's the best choice.'

A single tear drops left her eyes. She didn't want to lose someone she loved. But she was afraid of the rejection. She knew Jungkook would be hurt. But it would be over soon. When her love for him disappears.

Oh man, I do find the story is a bit rushed... But I already wrote a bit ahead.. So I've edited the chapters and I tried to make it not as rushed.. I tried my best but I might still need a little help from you guys, I'll keep this in mind from now on.
