The next day, Areum woke up earlier and left for school earlier. To her luck, Jungkook hadn't leave yet. She quickly made her way to school.

Jungkook knocked on the door waiting for Areum to answer. To his surprise, Aunt Eunji answered instead.

"O-Oh, uh, hi Miss Eunji! Is Areum ready yet?" Aunt Eunji looked at him feeling confused.

"Areum left," Aunt Eunji finally realised what Areum was doing, she looked at Jungkook before giving him a sad smile, "Give her some time, don't give up on her. She's just lost."

Jungkook looked at Aunt Eunji before nodding, feeling confused. He thanked her and walked away.

When Jungkook reached school he quickly went around looking for Areum, when he finally found her he smiled and hugged her but she pushed him away, surprising him.

"What's wrong?" Jungkook asked, face filled with concern. "Stay away." Areum simply said as she looked at Jungkook coldly before leaving.

What happened to the happy Areum, what happened to her smile? Did I really work so hard for nothing? Jungkook thought.

He was confused but decided to keep a distance from Areum.

Areum on the other hand felt hurt. But she knew she couldn't get any closer. Afraid that her feelings would affect their friendship.

She wanted so badly to reach out and hug him and tell him nothing was wrong but deep down she knew she couldn't.

The two didn't talk to each other once again. It felt like deja vu. They were experiencing the same pain when they were separated not too long ago.

Areum felt guilty, it wasn't Jungkook's fault yet he was getting hurt. Each time she thought of Jungkook getting hurt, she tried so hard to make her feelings disappear.

But each time she tried. It was like mixing oil and water.. Hard.

Next chapter will probably be a sad chapter? But anyways..

I'm planning on doing a Yoongi fanfic about Photography and Music after this.
