Tuesday, June 3rd, 6:52 a.m.
When I awoke I was nothing but sore. I feel like I just got run over by a bus. I started in Australia and swam around Madagascar to The Bay of Bengal. I had never swam anywhere close to this far before. I had once swam a mile, but now I was swimming thousands of miles without breaks. I don’t know if I can do this. 9:08 a.m.
I was almost certain that I had reached the lair. There were sharks swimming into a sunken ship. The entrance to the ship was small, and the sharks were all very large, but they somehow managed to enter at a very fast pace. After they were all inside, I went in too. As I entered the ship, my mind traced back to the scene of Titanic after she dies and is about to join her fellow shipmates on the ship the way it was before the accident. It was covered in algae and everything was old, molded, and rusted.
9:11 a.m.
I kept following the last shark, and it led me into a shark frenzy. There were at least one hundred sharks there. I swam to the back of the room, behind a china cabinet filled with broken glass. I hope this doesn't fall over. They were all talking amongst one another at first, but then a rather important looking shark swam to the middle of the room. Broker. I’m in the right place.
Broker called for their attention, “Fellow sharks, we are gathered here on wonderful circumstances. Most of you may know that recently we stole King Neptune’s triton,” he grinned and others cheered, “and today we have a special guest to tell us how proud of us he is. Here’s Dwindler.” Broker finished and gestured towards a very large shark. Dwindler entered from the shadows. He was ginormous, I never knew a shark could be so big. The sharks cheered. Dwindler got their attention, “Thank you, Thank you, but today I am here to congratulate you all! I was never able to capture Neptune’s triton, and Broker did it!” everyone cheered for Broker, “You have all offered me the position of running the ocean once we take over, and I would be honored. Broker and I have discussed a plan. Broker and some others went to the castle in Mermaidia on Saturday, May 30 late in the afternoon. It was retrieved right before dinner, around 6:00 p.m. Now, I did some research and found that the magic inside Triton lasts for five days, that means it’s up tomorrow,” more cheers from the sharks, “Broker and I will take ten of our best men and leave for the castle at 8:00 sharp tomorrow morning. We will send three of our men back to alert the rest of you that you can now come to Mermaidia. Sound good?” Everyone cheered.
“Alright,” he continued, “let’s go take over this ocean!” Followed by more cheers.
11:18 a.m.
I was swimming all around the ship, searching for the Triton. Then I spotted Dwindler, he was carrying it! I kept following him, waiting for him to put it down. After around a half an hour of following him, he laid it down in a cabinet and was swimming down the hallway. There was my chance, I went for it. I swam as fast as I could. I was opening the cabinet. It was in my hands. I turned around and sprinted away, but I found myself swimming right into Dwindler who was coming back down the hallway. I looked up at him and he was just smiling an evil smile. Oh no.
