Turns out when a boy walks through the wilderness, alone, he gains unwanted attention from the best scum and villainy Earthland has to offer. I had to defend myself somehow. Being Edolas-born, I wasn't given magical powers like the people of Earthland had the privilege of using so. So I'm sure you can figure out how defending myself worked out for me...
Battered, bloody, and alone I lived in solitude in this strange, new land... for a few years, eventually gaining my magic abilities of Stave Magic. I never really knew how long I was there. My mind had become fixated on shutting the anima portals scattered all over the world. What was going through my father's mind? Stealing innocent lives for a sick and selfish goal. I promised to save the lives of others. Even if it meant the possibility of ending mine.
I heard tales of a guild called "Fairy Tail", a strange but very notable guild the people of Earthland admired greatly. With most of the anima portals shut, I figured I might as well earn some money while I was here. So, in X782, I began my trek to the city of Magnolia. To see if I had what it takes to become one of Fairy Tail's well renowned wizards.
