Hyejin's POV
Since Jin went to buy his utensils, Hoseok and mom left for grocery, that eventually left me and Jungkook together now; not knowing what to do or where to go to.
I graze my palms over my jeans, a habit I never knew I'd develop after being human. Or maybe I did this when I was a human before?
"Should we go get some lunch together?" Jungkook taps my shoulder and asks.
I turn around and look up at him, "Oh. Y-Yeah. Sure. I'm famish anyway and I don't know what'd Jin put in his fried kimchi rice for me to eat. So, better be safe yeah?"
Jungkook scoffs at that as he nods his head at me, "Come, I'll show you a place you'd like to dine in." And with that, he takes my hand in his, ever so naturally as if we've done that a lot before.
His smiles somehow radiant from here, so genuine, so bright... so... enchanting-
Thump!
And this heart just won't stop beating hard will it? I roll my eyes in annoyance at it and decided to just ignore the weird heart inside.
I thought he was planning to dine-in in a fancy restaurant with beautiful interior designs and small quantity of food in a large plate that was priced way expensive than my kidney.
Okay, that was a bit too much.
Anyway, yeah. We all get the gist what fancy restaurant would be like, right.
But Jungkook actually drags me out of the shopping mall!
"Hey, if you're attempting to kidnap me just so you could put a spell on my mind and make me believe that you're my husband, I'm going to chop off your little member down there and stick it to your forehead so everyone could see what's a unicorn with a limping horn looks like."
And with that, he puts a halt to his feet, gasping exaggeratedly as soon as he turns around at me, "Are you really my wife?"
I roll my eyes at him, "No. Obviously. Guess your wife is a bit woman-like and not as rude as I am."
"Yeah."
And it hits home just like that. He didn't even take a second to agree with my words. Am I that different than his wife though?
"But that won't change my heart for you, Hyejin. I promised you that I'd make you remember. Your attitude might change but that doesn't change the fact that your heart and your eyes are still the same Hyejin as I knew before." He lets out calmly, beaming a gentle smile that could shook my world. There's no reply I could make to that for sure.
Why must he ends me like this? Why must his words feels so wistful? Why must his eyes turns purple of all colors? Purple is my favorite color though...
Seeing my tongue-tied self, Jungkook just chuckles and drags me out of the mall to the nearest food stalls along the Han River.
When I say food stalls, it's not just a few food stalls here and there but it's a lot of food stalls for as far as eyes can see. It's like there's no end to it. Both left and right side is conquered by these stalls selling all sorts of foods from savoury to deserts, from foods to drinks, there are even stalls that sells food from other part of the world!
"Whoa, what's that?" My eyes lit up as soon as I saw an arabic guy slicing the big chicken meat that was hanging with the heat from behind it. Like an espetada but this chicken meat is bigger than that.
"Ah, I've heard the name before... It's called something like chicken kebab but this one is... Ah!! Shawarma!" Jungkook snaps his fingers when he finally remembers them.
