Alex was married with a 4 year old kid and his husband, Daniel died in a car crash before his baby girl's 2nd b-day.
He was heartbroken after losing the love of his life. He had no siblings, and his parents died. He raised his kid by himself but then his best friend Zack came back into his life. (They were high school best friends but lost touch, they saw each other at a baby clothing store, Zack was shopping for clothes for his nephew).They met when Alex found out he was pregnant and it was a girl. Zach met Daniel and he liked him but his parents were not so welcoming. They knew Alex was happy so they left it alone.
He is the owner of an Italian/French restaurant, created with his late husband.
