King was in a great mood as he rushed to meet his friends. He was at least five minutes late, but he honestly couldn't bring himself to care. Waking up in the morning with Ram had been amazing. It had felt like they had been a couple for a while. They were so comfortable together and it was like their morning routine just matched.

"King! Are you okay?!" King was pulled out of his happy thoughts by Boss's yelling.

His friends were also staring at him, faces full of shock and concern. It was then that King remembered that he had some cuts and bruises on his body from getting attacked the night before. He had totally forgotten about it. King supposed that this was the effect of spending time with Ram.

"I'm gonna kill him," Bohn snarled, his brows pulled down in a furious glare.

"Kill who?" King asked, genuinely confused, before sitting down at their table.

"Ram."

"What?! Why?"

King's friends hesitated. Why wouldn't King want revenge? When they saw King's state, they assumed that Ram had beaten him up when he had gone to see Ram the day before. King had been so angry, and from what they had heard from Duen, Ram had also not been feeling great and had been fighting.

"You're just going to let him do this?" Bohn growled, pointing at King's injured face.

"Ram didn't do this! What the hell? You actually think Ram would hurt me?"

King was livid, his good mood completely gone. How could his friends think Ram could do something like that?! He was offended on behalf of his boyfriend.

"Calm down, King. The last thing we heard is that you were going to see Ram. You didn't tell us that anything else happened," Mek interceded, trying to defuse the situation.

"Yeah, and Ram had been fighting, remember? That's why you went to see him," Boss added.

"He's a boxer. Ram had just been sparring as part of his training. And this?" King paused to gesture at his injuries, an angry copy of Bohn's earlier pointing, "This happened because some drunk guys attacked me. Luckily, Ram showed up in time to rescue me."

Bohn dropped his rage-filled visage immediately and the rest of King's friends began to look equally guilty.

"We're sorry, King. Let's just focus on the assignment, okay?" Mek apologised for the group, wanting to move on as it was clearly making King upset.

With a sigh, King nodded in agreement and took his papers out of his bag. He knew his friends didn't mean to agitate him and were just expressing concern. It just made him so angry that they automatically assumed that Ram was the one who hurt him. Ram may be a boxer but that didn't mean he was a violent person. King knew that Ram was just the opposite.

Ram leaned back onto the park bench as he texted Duen to meet him. He had been a little unfocused during the lecture since he was a bit worried about telling Duen he was in a relationship with King. It would probably be a big surprise because he hadn't talked to Duen about any of this.

"Hey, Ram!" Duen greeted him with a grin.

"Hi."

"Are you okay, Ram? You seem kind of stressed."

"I'm fine. I'm dating King now," Ram blurted out quickly before he could change his mind.

"What?"

Duen was stunned. He had not been expecting that. Sure, he knew something was going on, but he just thought King and Ram were arguing, he didn't think they would end up dating. It hadn't even crossed his mind. From what he could tell though, King was a nice guy and Ram deserved someone good.

"Well, congratulations! I'm happy for you both," Duen exclaimed after he recovered from the shock and gave Ram a quick side hug.

"Thank you," Ram smiled, feeling relieved, then continued, "Do you mind not telling anyone for while? We're going to tell Bohn tonight, but we're going to wait to tell anyone else."

"Oh, okay, sure, if that's what you want. Am I one of the only ones you're telling then?"

"We decided to not tell anyone, but you're my best friend, so I had to tell you."

The two hugged again, feeling that incorporeal link of friendship between them strengthen.

King was missing Ram. It had been only been a few hours since he had seen him, but he wanted to be in his calming presence again.

The bar was getting quieter since a few big groups had left. Boss was already completely wasted and still trying to dance while Mek desperately tried to keep him upright. That left King and Bohn sitting together at a table in the corner with an air of tension around them. They hadn't spoken since King had gotten angry that morning. Neither of them was sure what to say to the other.

King was relieved when he saw Ram striding towards them. Ram had just changed into a pastel pink shirt and light jeans, but King found it very attractive. His face flushed as he caught himself running his eyes up and down Ram's muscular body. That shirt was tight. When Ram sat down next to him and slung an arm over his shoulder, he resisted the urge to lean over and peck Ram's lips.

"Hey," Ram whispered close to King's ear.

King shivered at the sensation and nudged Ram with his shoulder. He heard a soft chuckle coming from Ram as he turned to face Bohn in the seat opposite them. Bohn raised an eyebrow at King, he could almost hear Bohn's sarcastic teasing voice.

"Uh, Bohn, I have something to tell you," King began, grabbing Ram's hand under the table for support.

"Okay..." Bohn tried to encourage King to continue, watching his friend curiously.

"Ram and I are dating."

Bohn glanced between the two with a slight frown, then put his glass down.

"Really?" He asked wearily, he jerked his head in Ram's direction, "Him?"

"Yes," King answered bluntly, his tone sharp and determined.

Bohn twisted his lips before nodding.

"Alright, as long as you are happy," he told King, patting his arm.

Then Bohn looked at Ram with a fierce glare, "If you hurt him, I will kill you."

"I would never hurt King," Ram promised.
