Christmas Party: Party Set-ups Part I

"Alright... It seems like that the teachers won't be here until the Christmas Party," Gumi announced to the whole class. It was Tuesday, the second day of the week. Ugh, it hurts so much to wait for the party!

"Yep. So, does everyone remember the plan for our set-up?" Everyone shook their head, signifying a no. "Guess we'll have to work on that... So, as you see in my hand, I brought in a blueprint of our party. So, I will assign you guys a role for this. Got it?"

"Yes ma'am!" Everyone said. It looks like everyone is starting to obey orders...

"Okay... Good. Now everyone, come here and let's plan this out. But don't do anything weird, especially to me!"

~Time Lapse: 1 Hour and 47 Minutes Later...~

Everybody is currently working their ass off right now, especially me. Right now, I'm helping Gumi-chan set up the stage with a few other students in our class. Meanwhile, SeeU is trying so hard to carry a piece of board by herself. Eh, she must be trying to flirt off with Yohio again. Show off, I mentally sighed. All of a sudden, my phone began to beep. Another text from Kaito.

"Uh, Gumi-chan, can I go to the bathroom?"

"Sure sure. Go ahead and take your time." She grunted, obviously concentrating in what she was doing. As I headed towards the door, I saw a group of girls staring at the now construction site. Most of them were staring at Gumi though, looking at her every move. And when she showed skin, the girls would start fan-girling. Ever since Gumi came back from the USA, Gumi earned a lot of fans. Like really. They even built their own Gumi-Fan Club!

As I entered the bathroom, I opened the phone and began to read the text.

Kaito: wats up hatsune! u busy?

I typed my reply, a small smile growing on my lips.

Me: ahh. nothin. jus buildin the xmas party in the cafeteria

Kaito: ahh... good to know! also, u free after school?

Me: yea. why?

Kaito: like i said, were gonna meet right?

Me: yea, what time?

Kaito: once u exit ur room. Ill pik u up right?

I blushed as I pressed the send button.

Me: oh.. yeah. tho ill ask the others to cover me up for mom

Kaito: sure ok. ill meet u then. see ya!

Me: bye!

After that, I closed my phone and exited the bathroom. As I was walking through the hallway, I can hear a voice call my name. Well, more like nickname.

"Hatsune!"

I turned around at the sound of that voice. Meiko Sakine, my long time enemy. "What do you want Sakine-san?" I asked in a cool manner. She began to approach me from where she was hiding. "So... I heard about the incident. And that you two have been talking like really close friends"

I crossed my arms, my eyes burning holes into her forehead. "Yeah, what about it? There's nothing wrong with me and Kaito conversing."

She snickered, then suddenly pushed me, causing me to fall against the lockers. "Listen, teal hair bitch, Kaito's mine and will always will be. I won't let him take you away from me." Meiko raised her fist, ready to knock the lights out of me. I gritted my teeth and closed my eyes, bracing for the impact. But there was none. What the hell was going on? As I peered open my eyes, I gasped at what I saw.

A very angry Gumi was there, holding a knocked out Meiko Sakine by the collar.

Alright! So I apologize for the update right now. This chapter was meant to be posted somewhere around tuesday, but I had a bit of a delay. Also, this was meant to be a whole chapter, but I decided for it to be split into two parts. So, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you in the next!
