Why is it that Kiki is so compatible with everyone?!

Here I was. The set of Youth With You, where I'd hopefully be able to prove to the world that I, Snow Kong, was worth it. This was another chance to debut, to make a name out of myself and leave the past behind. I grabbed my luggage from the trunk and immediately crashed into someone busy taking selfies of themselves in front of the mainbuilding.
"Oof!" The unknown girl exclaimed.
Her head was lowered and she was wearing a mask so I couldn't tell what she looked like. However, I immediately reached a hand out, checking to see if she was okay.
The girl lifted her head, and I was immediately met with the most mesmerising eyes I had ever seen. She took off her mask, giving me a sheepish grin and that's when I recognised her. This was Kiki Xu Jiaqi, member of SNH48 7Senses. I had seen her photos on Weibo.
"Sorry about that," she said, smiling at me. "I shouldn't have gotten distracted."
The first thing I noticed was despite her cool appearance, her voice was extremely cute and high pitched. "It's okay," I responded back to her. "It's my fault."
She reached a hand out. "I'm Xu Jiaqi, but you can call me Kiki," she clarified, as if she didn't know she had a huge fanbase and China and was the star of SNH48.
"I know," I said. Then my eyes widened. Did that sound creepy?
Kiki laughed out loud and it was one of those laughs that were extremely infectious, causing me to let out a chuckle. "I know you, you're Snow Kong, right?"
I was surprised. To be honest, Lady Bees hadn't been very popular. I guess, on a large part, it was hard to be in a group in China because generally here, soloists got more attention.
Kiki smiled at me then, holding out her phone. "Do you want to take a photo together before the staff confiscate our phones?" She joked. Who knows, Kiki and I might become good friends and this photo would serve as a memory of our time here together.
"Sure."
Kiki threw an arm around my shoulder as we took the picture, holding up a peace sign as her pose. I copied her pose, and we took a photo together in front of the Youth With You building.
When it was time to part ways and head to our dorms, Kiki grabbed her own luggage, waving farewell. "I hope we can see each other often!"
I smiled. It seems I've made my first friend so far.

Kiki poked my nose and I poked her back. The more I got to know this girl, the more obnoxiously endearing she got. We were preparing to do a brand CF together and I had to admit, I was very nervous.
"Xue eeeeeeer are you excited," Kiki asked in a cute voice.
I rolled my eyes slightly but couldn't help my smile. This girl was something else. "Actually I'm kind of nervous. What if I don't look good? What if I miss a dance move? What if I -
Kiki suddenly placed a finger on my lips to stop me from talking. I swatted her hand away, unable to stop the blush that was starting to spread. "Wha- what are you doing?"
To my surprise, she lightly smacked me on the arm. "Ow!"
She shook her pointer finger. "Nu-uh. Don't you dare talk about this kind of stuff. I know you Xue Er, and I know that you are talented and beautiful."
I opened my mouth to protest.
"And, I will be by your side the whole time so we can get through it together," she continued.
I truly admired and appreciated her words. A lot of people may still see Kiki as cool and unapproachable, but to me she was a shy and very caring girl.
It was getting quite cold outside waiting for the van that we were waiting to take us to the photoshoot. I involuntarily shivered, wishing for a nice cup of warm tea.
Suddenly I found a pair of arms enveloping me, turning around to see Kiki who had hugged me from behind, covering both of us with her parka and sharing her warmth with me.
I was nervous by the sudden proximity, as I turned around to stare right into Kiki's shimmering eyes. "We're in this together," she said assertively. "Let's go shoot this video."
