INTRODUCTION

I'm feeling nervous and excited at the same time.

Namamawis ang mga kamay ko habang nilalakad ang gate na papasukan ko simula mamaya. I can't believe it, college na ako.

They say college is the way to hell. Sobrang hirap daw. Para kang dadaan sa butas ng karayom para lang makapasa. But for me, I take college as a challenge. I am an adventurist, and I admit, I can't wait to see what adventures are waiting for me inside this university.

I almost groan in annoyance nang may umapak sa paa ko, like what the hell, ramdam ko yung tulis ng takong niya. I looked at her annoyed dahil inulit pa niya ng ilang beses. When she saw me looking at her, she raised her brows and looked at me from head to toe. I swear, kung hindi lang talaga siksikan ngayon dito sa labas ay nasuntok ko na tong babaeng to.

I controlled my temper because first of all, it's my first day and I don't want to ruin my day because of some bitch out there. And second, it is because I'm much more prettier than her.

"Pumila na lang kayo ng maayos at ihanda na yung ID niyo" The guard shouted to us, he seems pretty irritated dahil nagsisiksikan kami sa labas.

They can't blame us though, UC has a very limited access to entrance, road side ba naman kasi. Good thing they have a lot of entrances, so we don't have to push ourselves more in just one entrance.

I looked at the girl na umapak sa paa ko kanina, I rolled my eyes on her before tapping my ID and going inside. The smell of new atmosphere welcomed me, and I'm loving it. Para akong nakawala sa hawla dahil sa wakas, I can communicate with others and at the same time, I can make friends already.

As I looked at my surrounding, I can't help but notice how big UC is. Buti na lang at may mga inatasan silang pagtanungan, like this boy I am approaching right now.

He doesn't seem to notice me dahil nakatingin ito sa kabilang direksyon. But since I really need to find the way to my room right now, kakapalan ko na ang mukha ko.

I take a deep breath before poking him.

"Uhmm. Excuse me?"

It took him 3 seconds before he noticed me. Oh goodness gracious! He's sinfully gorgeous. And that black charcoal eyes, I feel like drowning when I'm just looking at him.

"Yes miss?"

Bumaba ang tingin ko sa katawan niya, and just like what I read in novels, isa siya sa mga lalaking pinagpala na yummy ang katawan. I wonder how it felt when I touched those biceps.

"Miss?"

Pababa ng pababa ang tingin ko hanggang sa umabot ito sa pantalon niya. Kunti na lang, makikita ko na... Ayan na.... But my fantasies and thoughts were interrupted when he waved his hands in front of my face.

"Hey. Do you hear me?"

Oh em gee. Natulala ako sa harapan niya, nakakahiya! Bakit ba naman kasi napaka-gwapo niya, not to mention his body.

"S-sorry, may naalala lang" I said to him using my small voice.

He smirked, "Wag ka ng magpalusot, I know you're checking me out"

Ramdam ko ang pag-iinit ng mga pisngi ko dahil sa sinabi niya. What the heck, don't tell me kung gaano siya ka-pogi, ganun naman kagaspang ang ugali niya. If that's the case then it's a major turn off for him.

"So what do you need?" He asked me while still smirking

I cleared my throat before answering him, "I need assistance."

Laking gulat ko ng tumawa ito ng malakas. I think this man is crazy, like what the hell, pinagtitinginan na nga kami ay tuloy pa din siya sa pagtawa. Kung hindi lang ito pogi ay nasapak ko na ito.

"Why are you laughing?" I raised my brows on him. "Are you guys that rude? I thought UCians assists people with respect?"

He wiped his almost teary eyes from laughing before looking at me. This time, he look so serious but still, charming. What the heck Alodia Medina, ngayon ka pa talaga lumandi.

"I'm sorry but I'm not one of them,"

"Excuse me, what?"

"I'm not one of those people who assists new students." And without a word, he turned his back on me and start walking away.

Oh God, I wish the ground would just swallow me right now. Ramdam ko ang titig ng mga tao sakin, feeling ko ay pinagbubulungan pa nila ako. This is so much for my first day, hindi ito yung inaasahan kong sasalubong sa akin.

Masama ang loob kong naglakad papaalis, if our paths would cross again I swear I'm going to kill that guy. No one has ever humiliated me like that in public. Napakuyom ang kamay ko sa inis, he'll see, I will rip his neck and throw him on the burnham lake.

Good thing at hindi na nasundan pa yung masamang pangyayari na iyon. This time, someone nice approached me and assists me towards my room. Wala kaming kibuan habang naglalakad dahil wala ako sa mood, and because she noticed too that I'm on my killer state.

We were supposed to ride on the elevator but since there's a lot of people on the first day, we just took the stairs.

She stopped walking when we reach the fifth floor, this must be the engineering department.

"Andito na po tayo," I can feel how awkward she is to me, "Uhmm, Goodluck po on your first day."

Hindi niya siguro inaakalang ngingitian ko siya kasi medyo nanlaki ang mga mata niya ng ngumiti ako, "Thank you."

Hindi ko na hinintay pa ang sagot niya at tumalikod na kaagad. The excitement came back lalo na at malapit ko ng mahanap yung room ko. Oh my God, this is it.

I almost squeal like a child when I found my room number. Nanatili pa ako sa labas ng mga ilang minuto habang paulit ulit na inaayos ang suot kong damit. Great Lord, please help me. No rude classmates please.

Isang malalim na paghinga pa ang pinakawalan ko bago pinihit ng dahan dahan ang pintuan. I can feel my hands shaking, no more turning back Ali.

Pagkabukas ko ng pinto ay bumungad sakin ang halos puno ng klase. And just what I expected, bilang lang sa kamay ang mga babae and boys, they are many. And right now, I wanted to back out and go home dahil lahat ng mga mata ay nakapako sakin, especially those black charcoal eyes, oh God, help me talaga!
