-I'm so excited. She's such a great filmmaker and her book is incredible.
-Of course you love her book. We've been waiting here for an hour.
Pauline rolled her eyes at the attitude of her brother, Timothée, who zipped his coat, trying to get warner, even though it was impossible, considering it was November in New York:
-You could have said no.
-Hey, I just wanted to spend time with you, I've been away for so long even if that means coming here.
They stood outside a bookstore, waiting to get "Women in filmmaking" by y/n signed. Pauline considered herself a huge fan of the 22-year-old woman and enjoyed all of her short movies, books and scripts. She considered her a genius. Timothée, on the other side, didn't know anything about her-
When the bookstore opened its door, Pauline ran to be one of the firsts in line, Timothée following her, his body finally feeling warn. Some of the people inside the bookstore recognized him, congratulating for Call Me by Your Name and asking him for pictures. A few months ago he was a nobody and now he was living his dream.
He got closer to Pauline and he looked at the girl who was signing books just a few feet away from him. Her hair was in a braid and she was smiling and talking with the people she had next to her. She was wearing a long sleeve black dress with some black boots. As soon as it was Pauline's turn, he found himself looking at her:
-Hi! -Her voice was soft.- How are you?
-Hi! I'm good, thank you. What about you?
-Good, thank you. Glad to be back in New York. What's your name?
-Pauline Chalamet.
y/n placed the marker in the table and smiled, looking at Pauline and then Timothée:
-I knew you looked familiar. You were in Agnés et Milane, right?
-Yes! Oh my, have you watched it? I can't believe it!
-Of course I've watched it. Beautiful and the script was beautiful. You did amazing.
-Thank you so much.- Pauline placed her hand on Timothée's shoulder.- This is my brother, Timothée.
-I know, Call Me By Your Name was a masterpiece, you were great.
-T-Thanks.
y/n smiled, looking at him and then turned to Pauline:
-Listen, I need to keep signing but... -She took a piece of paper and wrote something.- I'll be done if two hours, more or less, I'll invite you both to dinner and I'll give your book a much better dedicatory than just your name ok? I would love to hear about future projects you may have, that sounds good?
-Sure! We'll call you. -Pauline smiled, taking the small paper and smiled.- See you soon!
-See you!

-I know this may sound like the typical older sister but... You think she's cute, right?
-Why does it matter?
-I saw you blushing and she did as well.
Timothée looked at his sister:
-She was blushing?
Pauline smiled and looked at the waiter that approached their table followed by y/n who thanked him. Timothée noticed that her hair was now in a ponytail and that she applied some makeup:
-Sorry I'm late.
-It's okay, we arrived 5 minutes ago.
-I decided to go home and grab something I would like you to check out. -y/n opened her bag , taking out what it seemed like a script and left it in the middle of the table.- This is still a secret but... Greta Gerwig called me and asked me if I could help her write a new script for...
