-That box goes to the kitchen.
Pauline nodded and carries the box she had in her hands to the kitchen that was in the main floor. y/n entered the house carrying a box and a bag and smiled at her boyfriend who was placing a box on the floor of the hallway:
-Maybe you should put that in the living room so we don't trip.
-You're right. -Timothée took the box again and approached y/n giving her a sweet kiss on the lips and smiling:
-So happy we are finally home.
-Me too.
She kissed him again when they heard Pauline groan:
-Hey, stop kissing and help us!
y/n laughed and went up the stairs, looking at the walls in the new house her and Timothée bought. She opened one door and sighed, looking at the not furnished bedroom. She walked to the door inside the bedroom and left the box in the walk-in closet and the bag in their en suite bathroom. She sat down for a few seconds in the toilet, exhausted of carrying boxes all day but she was happy.
Timothée looked at the sofa he and his dad placed on the living room today and imagined what their house would look like when they were finally done with all the decorative stuff and all the furnishing they had to do but he knew that from the first time they set their eyes on this house, it would be their home.
A hand on his shoulder woke him up from his day dreaming and turned around, looking at his beautiful girlfriend:
-Is there something else we need to take inside?
-I don't think so. My dad and your dad put all of our backyard boxes outside and Pauline checked the truck to see if there was anything else. -he placed his arm on her shoulder and kissed her cheek.- Are you happy?
-So happy. Can't wait to start decorating. -She pointed to one of the walls.- Maybe we could have our records here.
-That's the perfect place.
-And I thought that maybe we could put all our polaroids in our office. We need to get a lot of stuff but I love this place.
-Me too.
Both of them smiled and sat down on the sofa, the only furniture they had in the room. They had the basic things to live for a few days until they had to buy other things. They had all the kitchen appliances they needed, the bathrooms were furnished and their bedroom had their new king size bed.
Timothée softly kissed her head and smiled:
-I already see babies here.
-Wow, too soon.
-Not now! But in the future. Imagine them running around in the backyard, listening to our crazy stories here in the living room or us tucking them to bed... -y/n looked at him.- We are going to live so many things here...
They sighed happily, knowing they were where they needed to be: home.
