the way in which i have come to the revelation that i correlate neil perry and moritz stiefel so often in my brain is because they both died due to far too hefty amounts of pressure from their abusive fathers, and left their best friends/lovers behind...yeah this one makes me Ache,,,

also! i hate to make everyone who is not already sad about what i said even sadder, but the fact that the last thing neil says is i was good. i was really good and moritz's last words are describing the world around him just draw out this connection to me. i can not describe how they do, they just do, y'know?
