this is maybe THE MOST obvious metaphor for "my dad knows i'm gay and doesn't like that." can i also say that even wikipedia recognizes dps as "LGBT-related"?? plus, both fandom and tv tropes say that neil & todd were in love? even if you do not ship them (you would be fucking crazy not to lmao), there is also nothing at all throughout the film for you to view neil as straight.
and on top of ALL of that...there are locals who ship robin with m- m- me- 🤢🤢 i cannot even say it. robin buckley. the same woman who miss maya hawke and mister joe keery pushed the duffer brothers to make a canon lesbian. you people ship her with MEN. y'all cannot let us have anything. 🥴
