"Taehyung is gonna wake up soon."
Jimin and Jungkook's laughter faded as they turned their heads to the male that had just walked into their rented studio.
Jungkook got quiet again, he always would when something concerning Taehyung would come up.
"Hyung, you said that a year ago too-" Jimin started his rant but was immediately cut off by Hoseok.
"Listen, I know but I was just hopeful then. I'm certain now. I visited him," he took a deep breath, "he squeezed my hand. I wasn't imagining it, I felt it, I fucking felt it. His pulse started going crazy after that so I called for help-"
"What? Is he okay?" Jungkook's soft voice spoke up for the first time, it had the slightest tremble to it.
Hoseok nodded, calming the two younger ones: "He's fine, they stabilised him. They didn't want to tell me much but I just know one thing. There's hope. He will come back. He's been getting stronger."
Hoseok saw the hope and life pooling into the boys' eyes and he prayed to every god there was that he won't be wrong, that he didn't get their hopes up for no reason.

Hours passed and the three were simply enjoying each others company, each one doing their own thing.
Jimin smiled suddenly, as if he'd just remembered something: "Hyung, you bought Harmony for Riza? You like her that much?"
He laughed at the younger's statement, walking over to the two and sitting down next to them.
"She just talked about it but couldn't remember the name of it. I was visiting Taehyung when it finally came to me, what book she was talking about that is."
"Hyung's favourite," Jungkook mumbled, staring at the hard wooden floors.
"Yeah, they're really similar," Hoseok confirmed with a nod, leaning back a bit to stare at the ceiling.
"You noticed too?!" Jimin's loud voice boomed through the room, making the other two snap their heads toward him.
"Yes, a couple months ago."
"I didn't know she existed until I heard her tell a student that 'you're brave to talk so much with such smelly breath', she excused herself after that, asking for fresh air," Jimin's words made Jungkook and Hoseok's eyes widen in surprise.
"They must be long lost twins or something..." he added, his voice quieting down.
"Or Taehyung's soul is just occupying her body until his body is strong enough to wake up," Hoseok's eyes widened again and he stood up as if he had just found ten billion won in cash. Jimin stood up as well, nodding enthusiastically at his elder, calling him a genius and telling him to write a book about it.
"I'm the only sane one here then?" Jungkook muttered, staring up at his friends with a weak smile.
the boys are hopeful!!
