Chace. Walking towards me. I don't even know what to do.
Chace is 16 years old. He goes to the school here, and he's a junior. He's a few inches taller than me, but he has the body of a god. Shaggy dark brown hair, tan skin, and bright blue eyes. Did I mention lifeguard? Yeah. I think I did.
I jump down from the picnic table and sit on my towel. Andrea turns and sits on hers next to mine. Chace keeps walking and sits down on the picnic table in front of us.
"Hey Andrea" He says. Those two have been real close friends since the day Andrea was born.
"Hey Chace. This is Kat. Remember her?" Andrea says, He turns to look at me.
"Of course I do. Hey Kat." He waves and smiles. I just smile and wave back. He remembers me?
"So Chance, lifeguardin' now, eyy?" Andrea adds in.
"Ha, Yeah..." He says with a laugh "It sucks ass, but at least I get payed. Speaking of guarding lives, I gotta go back to work. See you guys later. Well I guess I'll see you when I get home actually. Aaron's coming with." And with that, he turned around and walked back to his chair.
I wait until he's far enough away so he cant hear me.
"Did you hear that?!" I said with the biggest grin on my face "He so remembers me."
"Yeah I heard, now come on, go jump in, Im dying out here. It's so hot."
Andrea and I walk to the deep end off the pool, grab hands, and jumped into the cold water.
