Episode 9: Turbulence

"Why do you keep doing that?"

"Doing what? Why are you being so anal lately?" Winwin said.

"Whatever," Ten said, moving to the other side of the couch.

"Did I do something wrong?" Winwin asked looking at Ten who shook his head.

For the past couple of weeks, Ten and Winwin were experiencing turbulence in their relationship. Ten was exhausted most of the time from practice. SuperM and WayV were taking their toll on him, but he would never tell anyone. He was doing what he loved and there was no holding back now. He could see the strain it was putting on their relationship. He barely had time for Winwin. Every time they saw each other it would end in an argument. Either Winwin would bring up something and it would trigger Ten, or Ten would say something accidentally and it would trigger Winwin.

"When don't you do anything wrong?" Ten said.

"I waited for you for five fucking hours Ten. Excuse me if I needed to get some sleep."

"I text you and told you I was on the way. Why did you leave?"

"I'm tired of this Ten."

"So you're tired. What are you tired of, Si Cheng?"

Winwin knew he'd said the wrong thing. Ten looked at him, remembering the promise he'd made with Winwin's mom. It was getting incredibly hard to keep it.

"Nothing, just forget about it."

"Wait wait wait," Ten said grabbing Winwin's arm. "We need to talk this out. It's not good if we let it fester. Remember our promise."

"Do you have time to actually talk?"

"Really? Are you really coming at me right now?" Ten said tears starting to form in his eyes.

"I just want to spend time with you, but it seems nearly impossible lately."

Ten took a breath and sat down pulling Winwin into the chair next to him. He held his hand and looked in his eyes.

"Si Cheng, I'm sorry for not making time for you. My schedule has been hectic and I didn't know how much I was hurting you. I want this anger to go away. I don't want this to be the end of us."

Winwin looked at Ten and sighed. He was as much to blame as Ten was. He should be understanding and supportive, but he was being selfish and it was hurting the man he loved.

"Chittaphon, I love you and it does hurt when I don't get to see you, to hold you or spend time with you. You're my boyfriend and I'm very possessive of you, but I should be more supportive. You're doing what you love and I shouldn't hinder you from doing that. I'm sorry. I will try harder to be more understanding."

"And I will try to make more time, but you gotta promise me you won't spaz out on me if I can't make it."

Winwin pulled Ten into an embrace and kissed the top of his head. Just holding him felt good. It had been a while with Ten debuting in SuperM and being in the US so much. It was stressful only talking to him for short periods on the phone. They were only able to see each other now because WayV had recently released a new song and they were promoting it.

"I just worry you're going to burnout, and I'm scared our relationship is going to suffer because of it," Winwin said.

"I'm sorry for making you worry. I will try harder and stay healthy."

"I just want you to be happy," Winwin said, holding his boyfriend as if it were the first time. "Do you think we can catch a movie tonight?"

"We can do whatever you want tonight," Ten said fully relaxed in Winwin's arms.
