They were both flustered. Silvan and Hebe. Namumula-mula pa ang mga pisngi ni Silvan habang naiisip ang nangyari. They were both seated on a bench sa park. Silvan was seated on the far left and Hebe on the right.
"Hebe.. i'm really sorry about earlier" Silvan said on a low tone. His ears went red and she blushed kaya nag iwas sila ng tingin.
Napagpasyahan nilang wag na iyong pag usapat and Hebe asked him to just go straight to the point. She sensed that he needed something from her, or maybe, say something to her.
"Ok.. I want you to marry me" Silvan bit his lower lip after blurting out a half-baked proposal. Hebe's brows furrowed, evident sa mukha niyang nagulat at naguluhan siya sa nangyayari. Pati ba naman si Silvan?
"What? You like Cyb.. right?" Hebe turned her head to his direction, he stayed looking away.
"Just for convenience.." He sounded like an asshole but he couldn't let his brothers win Hebe over. Kung si Ares ang magwawagi ay paano na ang kanilang mga kapatid na babae? The guys could strive but Ares will only bring Clio with him since they both shared the same womb. Artemis and Cybele would have nowhere to go. If it would be Seth, he don't know. Hindi niya mabasa ang isipan ni Seth dahil alam niyang kaya ito sumali ay para mapahiya at malamangan ang nakakatanda nilang kapatid. He surely don't have concrete plans. Apollo, he finds him selfish. He is capable of running away with the money. Just like Ares, he wouldn't care about their sisters. E ano naman si Sol? He is blinded by love. He thought that wala talaga siyang mapagkakatiwalaan sa kanilang lima but himself. So, he needed to take a chance.
"The king wants one of us to marry you, Hebe." and there nagsimula na siyang sabihin kay Hebe ang lahat, well except for the last part.
"Whoever wins you gets the throne. Kaya kung nagtataka ka bakit biglaang nagka-interes sayo ang mga kapatid ko ay dahil doon." Silvan paused, looking at Hebe's reaction. Hindi niya ito mabasa. She just had her pokerface on but on the back of her mind she was thinking about Seth.
Kaya ba ganun ang pakikitungo niya sa akin? Kaya ba biglaan na siyang lumalapit ngayon? Hebe smiled bitterly.
"Bakit naman kita pipiliit? I don't want to be associated with any of you, Silvan."
"Ayaw mo sakin? O.. may gusto ka lang talagang iba" Silvan chuckled. Napatingin naman sa kanya si Hebe.
"I am your father's mistress, Silvan. Wala akong gusto sainyong magkakapatid" Silvan glanced at her in disbelief.
"Seth... You like Seth, but I can't trust him.. or them. O siguro wala kang pipiliin sa amin but I can't risk my brother's to inherit the throne. Marry me, let me be the king because I will be the only one who can equally share everything." Hebe listened.
"I don't care if gusto mo ko o hindi. We would get a divorce, given yan. I won't stay with you forever. Kaylangan ko lang talagang masigurong hindi mapuna sa iba ang pera at kapangyarihan. I need to secure my other sisters, Hebe."
Hebe understood. She bit her lips, afraid that it would automatically say yes to his proposal due to the card he used.
