Kinaylangan ko ng lumipat ng kapares at kung mamalasin nga naman ay si Ares pa talaga ang susunod. Hinawakan ni Silvan ang kamay ko at ako'y pinaikot. The next man who held me was already the monster. Napairap ako. Linagay niya ang kamay niya samagkabila kong baywang at pinwesto ko naman ang akin sa kanyang mga balikat. Nakangisi siyang nakatitig sa aking mga mata kaya hindi ako makatingin ng diretso. 

"Ms. Belle.. do you want to know a secret?" I raised a brow, this time facing him directly. Malaki pa rin ang ngisi niya, ni hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit. He pulled me closer to him that our bodies touched. He faked a moan and chuckled as my breast hit his chest. I cursed under my breathe. Ano na namang problema mo, Ares Andreas? 

He bent his head slightly, I had the tingling sensation as he breathe so close to my ear. He kissed my cheeks. I can smell his perfume. Out of all the negatives I could recite when I remember Ares, smelling unpleasant wouldn't be included. Sinubukan kong iiwas ang mukha ko and that was when I saw the king looking at us attentively. Anger rushed through me thinking that he find this amusing. 

"Have you heard about an exiled courtesan.." he whispered, I kept my cool.. silently praying na magpalitan na naman ng pares. 

"Hera.. Hera Angeles" I flinched and I'm sure he noticed. Ares let out a giggle and continued swaying as if we were having a beautiful moment.

"Hera Angeles, the king's former favourite" I bit my lip, trying to hide my nervousness. Why in the world would he mention an exiled courtesan. Why would Ares remember a person who died years, almost a decade ago? "Apparently, nalaman ko kung bakit gustong gusto ka ng tatay ko" 

Ares chuckled. I tried to calm myself down and even looked at him straight in the eye. "Why would you tell me a story about someone who died years ago?" I smirked. His eyes changed but Ares was too quick to regain his poise. 

"Don't act like that.. Aphrodite.. baka magalit sa'yo mama mo" He had the evilest eyes and when I met his flaming orbits, I realized I was dancing with the devil. He smiled right after seeing the slightest weakness in mine as he stared through the windows of my soul. Umiwas ako ng tingin.

"And I'm sure, you were the one who fed the king poison all this time."  Lumuwag ang hawak niya sa akin kaya naalarma ako. When I looked at him again, he was grinning like crazy. The predator just had me in his mercy. I hated the feeling. 

"It's a shame only the two of us know. Sabihan din natin sila para masaya?" He gave me an annoying smile. Pulang pula na ang mga mata ko sa galit at alam kong yun ang naging dahilan ng kanyang biglaang pagtawa. 

"What do you want?" I said under my breathe, we were still swaying together. 

"You know what I want, Aphrodite" He smiled, looking at my lips and then down to my chest. I had no choice. "Be my queen..I can help you avenge your mother." I bit my lower lip before grabbing him by the nape, kissing his lips furiously as I curse in between kisses. 

"Fuck you" I felt him smile before kissing me. He placed his hands in my back and pulled me closer, his eyes were shut. The kiss went deeper and deeper until I could already feel his tongue on mine. I closed my eyes and caressed his nape, now realizing what the hell we were doing. The music stopped and for sure all eyes were on us already. A moment later, his kisses became lighter until his lips stopped touching mine. Natakot ako kaya hinila ko siya pabalik.. We had another round of torrid kisses until he firmly got me off him. 

When I opened my eyes as well, he was grinning back at me without realizing his lips were tinted with the same shade as my lipstick. I looked back, trying to find Artemis. I expected her to be angry but when I looked at her she had a wide smile. I looked away, obviously puzzled. We ruined her party and got her spotlight away from her but she looked rather happy.  

"Let's go, love" I was surprised when Ares held my hand and pulled me closer into the mini orchestra present. He got a mic with his free hand.

 "Hello.." Ares, testing the mic. "Artemis.. I'm sorry for doing this at your party.."

"Go on." Artemis smiled, as if she had hold of what was happening in her special day. 

"She finally said yes!" Ares looked so happy, genuinely happy that I can say he's a really good actor. Tinaas niya ang kamay naming magkahawak at hinila ako papalapit sa kanya. 

"Dad.. meet my fiancee"
