MTBMW 18: Confessing Game

Two days have passed. Hebe decided to give Silvan a shot and for the last few days, they have hanged out pretty often. Napansin naman ito ng mga tao sa paligid nila. It was something so obvious since they never really hanged out before.

"Kuya, what are you up to with Hebe?" Ani ni Cybele. They were togethere again, seated on their retractable picnic.. outdoor chair, whatever you call it. It broke the silence between them na namalagi ng limang minuto sa pagitan nila. Again, they are on the woods.

"What do you mean?" Pag-mamalinis ni Silvan. For him, the topic was too awkward. Even when Cybele is his sister, he grew fond of her and sometimes even see her as a woman. Yes, it sounds weird but the Kingdom of Abrose was open to that kind of set up. She also knew about how he felt towards her. 

"I mean.. you've been hanging out for three days, ng kayo lang" Cybele let out a small laugh, thinking what she asked was pretty obvious. Obviously, she knows what he is doing.

"Hindi naman" And again, Silvan tried to dodge the topic.

"Do you like her?" Cybele looked at Silvan. He was wearing a simple white NASA-printed shirt and a black jogging pants. He looked at her direction, too. Surprised that she was already staring. 

"What if I do?" Pag-babalik niya sa tanong. Napa-isip naman si Cybele. She looked away and went silent for a minute or two, trying to figure out the best words to utter. Yung hindi mapanakit at hindi rin naman misleading. She looked back at him and let out a smile. 

"The both of your looks good together" It was his turn to look away. What did he expect? Cybele knew about his feelings and he knew about Cybele's feelings for Apollo. Kung pepeke-in nila ang isa't isa ay mahahalata parin nila yon. He thought that what she did was her best option. 

Silence filled the air, again. The both of them watched the branches swaying and some of the leaves falling. It took a while before Cybele finally continued talking. "But.. I hope you don't hurt her. She's important to me.. She's like a sister to me.. You won't right?"

Silvan gulped.. thinking about his end of the deal with his father made him sick. Siyempre, hindi pa rin nawawala yung kondisyon na dapat nilang kitilan ng buhay si Hebe when she's finally inlove.. or atleast trusting them. 

"I.. I won't, of course"  He let out a reassuring smile. Napanatag naman ang loob ni Cybele roon. Out of all his brothers, he trusted him most. She reached for her water bottle and took a sip. 

"Anong nagustuhan mo kay ate?" She was looking at the woods. He glanced at her but she didn't even bothered looking at his direction. Silvan continued staring, now mesmerized by the view. 

"She's beautiful.. and resembles peace" When Cybele was about to look at him, he broke his stare. 

"And, I am at peace every time I'm with her"
