The Truth

Lewis tried to stand but he quickly succumb to his own weight and fell back to ground. "(Y-Y/n)..." he groaned looking at the closed portal. "Fucking... hell." He grumbled. He knew he wouldn't be able to survive on his own.

He held his wound and reached back to his pocket. Lucky for him he brought fireworks.

"MOKICHI LET GO OF ME!!!" You screamed, struggling against his grip as he dragged you along back to his room. He had a tight hold on both your wrists. You tried desperately to get away but he didn't seem to be phased by any of your futile attempts.

His face held no emotion. You tried to rip your hands away with all your might but he only tightened his iron grip.

He roughly shoved you in his room letting go of your wrists in the process and making you stumble.

He slammed the door behind him and glared at you.

You stomped up to him. "Mokichi I swear you better let me go this instant or else!" You hissed.

He simple stared down at you. "Oh? Or what?"

You glared up at him knowing you couldn't physically threaten him. "You're horrible." You hissed.

Mokichi hadn't noticed it before- but those words seemed to stay with him. When you looked him in the eyes and told him you were choosing those scum over him it... it hurt.

And now, when you're glaring at him and saying he's horrible. It was like... a small crack ruptured in his heart.

'Control your anger...' he thought. He took a deep breath and gently grabbed your shoulders. "Don't you understand (Y/n)? I did it for you. They're the ones who are trying to tear us apart. Can't you see that?"

You grit your teeth and shoved his hands off. "NO THEYRE NOT!!! You're crazy!!! You hear me?! I can't believe it..." you paced away from him and held your head in your hands. "I'm so stupid."

Another snap at his heart. Crazy?

He hesitated to speak, something that rarely ever happened with the supreme being. "You don't... really think that do you, my dear?"

You whipped your head to look at him. "I didn't!! I DIDN'T!!! Even after what you did to me... even after you tricked me and hurt me and used me I still didn't want to believe it!!" Your eyes swelled up with tears, quickly you covered them with your hands and sobbed into your arms. "A-And now... Lewis is going to pay for my foolishness..."

'Control your anger, control your anger, control your anger.' He had to keep thinking those words over and over. You were extremely fragile at a time like this and he didn't want his plan to fail because of it.

He walked over to you and gently wrapped his arms around you, pulling you in for a hug. He felt you tense up in his arms, a small gesture that still seemed to hurt something deep inside his black cold heart. He moved a hand up to your head and stroked your hair. "Shh... my love please don't cry. You must understand everything I did was only intended to keep you safe... with me. Isn't there a way I could make it up to you?" He cooed.

You gripped his shirt with a shaky hand and looked up at him with eyes streaming with tears. "Y-You could... You could take me back to him... t-to Lewis and please... let me heal him." You whispered.

'Control your anger.' His grip tightened on you. "Anything... But that."

You shoved him away. "Then I HATE you!"

As soon as you shoved him away Mokichi felt everything shatter. They say the worst pain you could feel was a broke heart. A soft yet deafening ringing slowly became louder and louder in the back of his head.
