Two Times the Trouble

Mokichi has been acting different recently. The two of you were constantly around eachother but barely any words were exchanged. He would always pull you along everywhere he went and you were simply follow him without a fuss. You still didn't know what you were going to do...

Mokichi hasn't hurt you since that day but you were sure he wouldn't hesitate to do it again. He has treated you much better though. When you first woke up he helped you take a bath which was rather embarrassing but you felt that you were too weak to do it on your own. Then he had the staff make you the food that you wanted and he always held you gently.

It hadn't been too long after that that you began to feel your baby kicking. You didn't tell Mokichi though. You didn't want him to have even a single clue as to when you were giving birth. After a while Mokichi just left you alone in the room because you became winded when following him around.

Every time you paused, even if you were silently behind him, he'd notice immediately. That was a problem... it was like he was always focused in on you even if it didn't seem like it.

One day when you were alone in the room Aphrodite came in with a sour look on his face.

You were currently sitting on the bed and looked up from your book. You rose a brow.

He came over and sat down on the edge of the bed, still pouting. "Your boyfriend is a dickhead." He said.

You slowly closed your book. "He's... not my boyfriend... and what did Mokichi do to make you so upset?" You asked.

Aphrodite seemed to grumble under his breath for a moment then said "Apparently he killed one of my most loyal goblins only because it pissed him off. I liked that goblin too! Tho... I can't remember his name."

You narrowed your eyes. "Why...are you telling me this?" You questioned.

He shrugged. "I have no one to talk to. Our Lord is an ass and Iris scares me."

You stayed silent for a moment. "Yeah... Iris scares me too." You slowly slid off the bed and went to move over to sit on the couch, waddling all the way there.

"Woah your stomach is huge!!" Aphrodite shouted.

You glared over at him. "Of course it is I'm pregnant." You mumbled.

He feel silent for a moment. "...wait seriously? So I was right you're not a Virgin!!"

You didn't reply to him. You sat on the couch that was closer to the fire place. You felt extremely useless in this state. You ignored what Aphrodite was saying and just attempted to sit comfortably. Who's idea was it to make pregnancy so complicated.

Aphrodite came over to you and stood in front of you, eyeing you slightly. "Can I touch it?"

You shot him a weird look. "Touch what?"

"Your stomach!" He said. "I wanna touch it!"

"Uh...sure." You said reluctantly.

He sat down next to you and slowly placed his hand on your stomach with seemingly sparkles in his eyes. His hand was cold, you could feel it through your nightgown. You supposed your baby could too because it kicked.

Aphrodite pulled his hand back in surprised. "Does that feel weird??" He questioned.

You shrugged. "Not really to be honest."

"Is pregnancy hard??" He asked.

You rose a brow. Why was he asking so many questions. You could tell he was genuinely curious. But you didn't know why...
