As Mew busy scrolling thru his phone, his mind is pretty occupied with what's happening. Gulf came out of the room and he walked to Mew before putting his head onto Mew's shoulder. "Mew?" he said.
"Hmm?" Mew replied. "I want to go to the temple today and make merit." he said. "Can you go with me?" he added. Mew smiled. He moved away and look at Gulf who stared at him like a lost puppy. "Of course. Do you want to go now or later?"
"Now."
Mew nodded. He pulled Gulf for a hug. He then kiss Gulf's head and caress his soft hair. Gulf tighten his grip around Mew as he leaned against his chest, hearing his heartbeat. They were in that spot for about an hour before they dozed off to sleep. It was the best moment for both of them and Mew knew how hard it is for Gulf especially knowing the whole truth. Being in that position not only gives comfort and reassurance for Gulf but also gives some comfort and peace for Mew.

They got out of the car and Mew held out his hand as Gulf took his and they walked to the temple. Gulf personally requested to go to the temple, the first time they went together. Even though they lived quite near to the temple at their house area, Gulf personally wanted to go to this temple which Mew questioned at first but Gulf said he likes it here. As they walked, they look at each other before Mew gave him a kiss on the nose. Gulf scrunched his face as he smile. "Looking at you smile today makes me happy." Mew stated. Gulf felt his face turns red.
Before they entered the temple, they removed their shoes, placing on the shoe rack. They walked in whilst holding hand. Mew then took the joss-sticks and burn it on the fire. He then pass the joss-sticks to Gulf and together they prayed. And then they went to see the monk and they offer their merit. As they completed their prayers and the merit process, they bumped into the monk that they've met earlier.
They greeted the monk with respect. "Sons, it's been a while."
"Yes, sire." they replied.
"You look disturbed. Is there anything wrong, my sons?" he replied. They look at each other. "Nothing, sire. It's just that we have some family issues and it's overwhelming for us at this moment." Mew replied. The monk nodded and he look at Gulf who seems so distant and distracted. "You look tired. I assume this issues is way bigger than I thought."
They kept silent. The monk sighed.
"Sometimes, we shouldn't listen to what our families says. Yes, we are told to respect them, but in some cases, the truth has to be told. If the truth that you are seeking isn't pleasing enough, then search for it. Go deeper. Don't be afraid of it. The choices is yours. You make it. Not all secrets and truth is the truth. You have to view it from another angle. Don't be too focus on one side. Look at the other side as well. Once you know the truth, the real truth, it'll be easier and things will get better." the monk added.
They feel like the monk could read their thoughts. The monk chuckled. "Don't be afraid. I don't know what the issues that you guys are facing. I'm just assuming with what I could see. Now, don't delay things anymore. Go and seek for it. Don't stop until you knew."
"Thank you, sire." they said. They bowed and then they got up and left the temple. The monk look at them leaving and shook his head. "May Buddha give the grace to you, my sons." he muttered. "Phra Amitapha Puttha."

The merit-making parts may be wrong or the description is out of detailed but please do forgive me because I'm only describing thru the research I've made, the videos I've watch. I may be wrong so I truly apologised for the merit-making mistakes. I'm not trying to offend anyone or any religion in particular.
