"I thought I told you no trouble" I said with an undertone of severe anger, my voice becoming husky.
"Look, I'm sorry, it's just, father and I, we never got along" I ponder my situation and take a look around at the damage. I was greeted with a smashed mirror and a broken door and not to mention the wall of course.
"What the hell *A faint smirk beckons on his face* am I meant to do with this, huh? I am NOT cleaning it up, Does it look like I can afford this?!"
"Look I understand, I'm sorry, I'll start cleaning it up right away, why don't you go for a walk? And when you return, everything will be as it once was." His voice becoming more sincere. "I promise".
I take a deep breath and nod "Fine, I'm going to go for a walk, I'll try to understand this later, but right now I've got to take this all in"
He nods understandingly. I begin to walk out of the door when he speaks once more.
"Hey, look, I am sorry you know" He waits for an answer and I don't turn around to face him, but I nod appreciatively.
"Okay Blackheart, okay" I now turn to face him, and he nods.
"Thank you,I promise" and I take my leave with Blackheart watching me.
I get outside and sigh, is this what's going to happen every single time I let someone in my life? I'm so sick of being walked on, I'm growing so tired of this. It's getting harder to become more weary. I'd hate to be thought of as a pushover. Well I'm not. I told him I was strong and this is what I do? I begin to feel humiliated.
Something in Blackheart just brings me to a standstill. I'm still clueless as to what it is. Suddenly I feel a light buzz in my pocket and then my ringtone starts to play. I reach down to pull it out of my pocket and my hand gets stuck a little while trying to pull it, the struggles of skinny jeans.
Finally I manage to tug it out of my pocket and I answer it quickly.
"Hello?"
"Hey, it's Nancy, I felt guilty for you taking my shift the other day, I know we don't know one another that well but do you want to hang out?"
It was like a reassurance after feeling like a pushover, a reward for my earlier decision to briefly forgive that man. We always kept each other's number's just in case. I smirk to myself.
"Oh, no bother, you know what, yeah sure. I've got some things on my chest at the moment" I reply. We got talking some more and then we decided to meet up at the coffee shop, as dry and desolate as it was, it was somewhere. And it was coffee.
I see Nancy from the outside window, that was a little relief. I enter then coffee shop and the old bell rings at the door announcing my arrival. I give Nancy a little wave and come sit down.
"Hey" I smiled politely.
"Hey" she smiles back. "So what did you wanna get off of your chest?" She asked.
Before speaking I thought over what I had saw earlier, something....supernatural....like..me, I decided it was best to keep it to myself. Perhaps that would have actually been quite disrespectful to him now that I think about it.
"Ahh, you know what, it's nothing, *I laugh slightly*
"But there's definitely something I want you to fess up to. Who was that guy then?" I smirk.
Nancy laughs understandingly.
"Wellll, that was Gressil"
I smile "Well, who is he then?" I ask. She seems to become more quiet, as though she has problems of her own.
