Confusion

Ava's pov.

I walk to the library, thoughts wandering through my mind. My phone buzzes interrupting my current thought. I take it out of pocket and see a text message from an unknown number. The message says "Hey it's Ethan⚡️" I text back "How did you get this number?" "I have my connections, but that's not what I'm here for. Meet me at Hazelwood Park at 3pm." "Ok", is all I text back. I'll have to sneak out but oh well.

"How'd study hall go?", Tanya asks. "Good finished a lot of homework retook a test!" I respond trying to sound enthusiastic. "Well that's good." "Hey I need to go to the library mind if I take the car?" "As long as you're home in time for dinner not really, take your phone with you." "I will bye Tanya." As I grab the keys to the car and my phone I think of why he invited me instead of the popular girls? Oh well. The park isn't that far from my house so I drive the 15 minutes drive and pull into the parking lot. I look around for anyone tall and with jet black hair. Sure enough he's standing by the slides. I walk over nervous. "Why'd you invite me here?" I ask trying not to sound rude. "I invited you here because I wanted to hang out with you, get to know you better." "Ohhh" Just then I get a text from Jasmine saying "Who's this mystery boy? Text me the dits" 💋" Jasmine and I have come up with code emojis so instead of saying love Ava or love jasmine in an email or text we leave 💋(jasmine) or ✖️(me). I forgot my cardigan was in the car so I wasn't covering my wrists. All of a sudden my left wrist was in Ethan's hand. "Why, why?" He asked with tears threatening to fall free. "I can't handle the yelling and abuse anymore" I answer crying into his shoulder. "Hey hey wipe those tears we'll fix this, you'll get help." "OK." I get text saying "Dinner is almost done, come home!🍴" Great now tears are running down my face and I have to go home. "What are they going to say when they see me?" "I have to go, meet me in the library during study hall tomorrow ok?" "Ok." "Bye." I get in the car and start driving home confused as to what he might want to talk about tomorrow. I pull into the drive, hopefully Tanya made chicken. Sure she's strict and wants thing done her and only her way, but she sure can cook. I open the front door, yes she made chicken!! I put the keys on the door side table and go help set the table. When I'm done I sit down with Tanya and Kyle and start to eat. "We say your first semester report card today, were very proud!", she says beaming. Wow I've never gotten a "were so proud before." When they were done they went to their room most likely to watch tv or do well I'd rather not say. So I go to my room to get homework done and watch Netflix. By the time I'm done with my homework and I've watched 1 episode of raising hope it's 10:30. So I go pick out my outfit and go to bed thinking confusing thoughts.

Hey guys! So therapy was great yesterday, Kasey was really nice! Do you guys think that Tanya is being nicer to Ava for a reason or actually trying to be nice? Comment what you think. So as many of you all my holiday break starts on the 19th so I'll be around more. Anyway all of my story's will have updates coming up in the next few days. Ugh you guys I have to stay after school today for science work which sucks. 😔😔😔
