(Ava's pov.)

I turned bright red and ran to the bathroom, locking the door behind me. How could he? What had I ever done to him? I try, I try to not cry. I just end up balling, full on balling on the bathroom floor. "Ava open up." Why is he here, he can't be here? "No, I won't open the door." "Open the f**king door, right now!" "Fine." I open the door and he smiles, but his smile wipes off his face when I say my next piece. "You know what Ethan, why do I deserve this? I'm the worst treated student in this damn school! You've had your fun, but now I quit. I quit the game and I never want to see you again." I run all the way to the other side of the building and get in the janitors closest. I see the little window I've snuck out of so many times before. I open it and throw my binder out, next is the hard part. Me. I step on the stool and pull my front half threw, then I manage to wiggle my way out. I hit the ground with a thump. "Ouch.", I wince my arm stinging in pain. I stand up and brush myself off. I really only have two options right now, go sit in the café 2 blocks away for the next hour and a half or go to the near by bus stop and get on the next bus. I go with the bus stop considering I could get in a lot of trouble for trying to get on a school bus when I wasn't there for the last half of the day. I walk to the bus stop and see 2 women with coffees in their hands and wearing pant suits, a middle aged man that probably just wants to go home, and then a little girl that couldn't be much older than 4. I feel like I should go talk to her but i don't want to frighten the girl and seem like a kidnapper. I just stand at the bus stop, thinking of why she may be there.

*15 minutes later*
I get on the bus and pick a seat more towards the back. About 3 minutes later, I feel a little body slide into the seat next to me. "What's your name?" "Brooklynn." Huh it's a simple and sweet name for a girl. "Hi my names Ava. Where's your mom?" "Doing drugs.", I hear her whisper under her breath. "Where?", I say pretending to not hear her. "Oh umm she's umm out of town." "Well who's watching you?" "Well my aunt was supposed to but she doesn't care much and neither does my mother so I decided I'd run away." "Oh honey you should go home, their probably very worried." "Pfft no their not. Wait I have an idea I can go home with you!" "No you really can't, you have your home and I have mi.." Before I can even finish the sentence I hear a little snore and a thump against my side. I look down and there's oh what was her name? Brooklynn oh yeah Brooklynn. "She's so cute." She's like a mini you.", I hear an older lady she has to be at least 60. "Oh umm she's.", I'm going to say she's not mine when I just let the lady have her fun. "She's really cute yeah." I decide its best to just take her back to my house with her little pink backpack and call CPS in the morning. It's finally my stop I pick her up and walk to Tanya and I's apartment. I walk in and set her down on the couch. I call,Tanya and inform her what's going on. She says that Brooklynn can stay until we call CPS then we let them decide what to do with her. I hear a little cry coming from the living room. "Brook it's okay, I'm Ava from the bus remember." "Yeah yeah, I'm hungy." Okay well we don't really have any food here you want to go to McDonald's or something?" "McDonald, mcdonald!" With that ecstatic yes we put on her coat thing and open the door ready to leave. Who's at the door, why's he here, I told him I didn't want to see him again. "Hi Ethan."

Hello lovelys! How are you all doing? I'm doing good. I'm thinking of starting a new book, *nervous laughter* I know it's kind of stupid considering I haven't even finished any of my books. I talked to someone today. I got a new schedule today too. It was kind of a long update today. What do you guys think is going to happen to Brooklynn and Ava? What will happen when they call CPS?
