"Beep, beep, beep, beep.", the alarm clock went off at 5:30 like it did everyday. I walk into the bathroom and grab my hair straightener and start running it through my thick curly brown hair. Then I go throw on my jeans and t-shirt. I go do my makeup and eyeliner leaving a little smudge on each eye. By this time it's 6:30 so I decide to go watch a little bit of news. I try to focus on the story about the new tiger cub at the zoo but I just can't help but keep replaying what then said yesterday and what he might want to talk about. Well I look at the time 6:55 well better get walking to the bus stop. I make it to the bus stop just in time. I get on and find an empty sit plug in my headphones and hum along to the song.
3 hours later
ughh why does every class before study hall have to go so slow? The 3rd period bell finally rang, yes now I can find out what he wants to talk about. I practically run to the library getting yelled at by the hall monitor a few times but oh well.
I look around the library and see Ethan sitting by the horror genre books and walk over. Usually I would do homework but today I'm here on a completely different mission. "Hey what'd you want to talk about?" "Well if we're being completely honest here I wanted to talk to you today to ask you on a date and to discuss the cuts.", he responds looking down at my arms.
"Oh Ethan I'm flattered but my parents wouldn't approve of it and the cuts were an escape from reality and my background really."
"Please don't make it an escape, my sister made it her escape and I haven't seen her since I was 9.", Ethan pleaded with tears about to escape. "I won't i promise." "If you can please meet me at Hazelwood Park at 3:30 today ok?" "I'll see, Tanya and Kyle said we have a photoshot around that time for some odd reason." Just then the bell rings. Ethan waves goodbye. As we go our separate ways.
